I'll be in Nashville for business Monday through Thursday. Will be working all day, but wondered if anyone in the area would be interested in meeting for dinner and fellowship one evening (Monday through Wednesday).

I actually was asking about the mini reunion last April in Jackson (AFF reunion) - not JCM.

Maybe I have you confused with someone else.

HAHA! He PM'ed me and said he might be available to meet up Wednesday evening, not sure though. I actually go to Nashville a lot as my company is headquartered there - typically spend about eight days out of any given month there. It's sad when the check-in clerk at the hotel knows recognizes me and doesn't ask my name anymore. :lol

jaamez, are you going to have internet access while you are in Nashville? I would love to grab a cup of coffee with you but between being really sick right now and not knowing how long that will last, and what my work schedule will be and what your schedule is going to be I don't know if we can pull it off.

What part of the Nashville area are you going to be in?

Ahh... no, I was confused by the Jackson reference. YES! I wanted to come, would love to meet some of the great AFF folks, but couldn't work it out. I'll keep my eyes out for the next one, though.

HAHA! The Gaylord is an amazing place, for sure! I've stayed there for National Youth Convention a few times and am just in awe of how beautiful and vast it is.

No... much simpler (and cheaper) accommodations for this business traveler.

When I first moved to Nashville back in 1999 I lived in a hotel off Elm Hill pike for about a month. Have you eaten at Darfons near there? Stupid restaurant name but good food.

LOVE Darfons! I took my team there for dinner a few weeks ago. I'm also fond of a little dive BBQ joint up the road a bit, off of Murfreesboro Pike. Tex's -- it's only open for lunch, though.
