Southern Illinois IGNITE Conference
 

We are having our first annual youth conference this weekend at our church! The youth decided to name it Ignite and tonight was our first night! Pastor Chris Smith from Love & Truth in Jackson, TN is our guest evangelist and wow is all I can say!!!!

Tonight one guy was so drunk in the Holy Ghost, I thought we might have to carry him out to the car :)!!! He prophesied over two young children (one of them being mine...yeah!!!)...young people gave their testimonies and a lot of the youth at the conference could relate and were ministered to!

Love & Truth in Crainville also came over tonight and it was so cool and exciting to meet their great group of youth!!

Will let you know how tomorrow's last two sessions go! We are also dedicating our newly remodeled youth room tomorrow, so that's exciting as well!!!

I got a text from Pastor Chris this morning, asking us to pray for him. He was going to preach on unforgiveness this morning and on the fire of God this afternoon. I trust that they will finish up this afternoon with a HUGE powerful move of the Spirit of God!!

And we did Sherri!!!! It was really incredible seeing young people who have never even prayed out loud before, run to the altar with hands upraised when he called for those wanting the fire of God to fall in their life!!!

The forgiveness message was tough goings this morning, had a lot of resistance. But the second session really broke a lot of the young people!! I think the first session's message on unforgiveness set the stage for the second session.

We hope they enjoyed themselves...we loved having them! Our whole church was moved by this conference! So IMO, the conference was a HUGE success!!!

Loved watching this young man getting all he could during Friday night's service! Pastor Chris really ministered in a deep way to him...totally different kid this morning at church!!!

Therefore messages in tongues can be given one at a time and interpreted with no more than three. There is nothing said about going to a back room.

It only states that if EVERYONE speaks in tongues, visitors will think we are crazy. IOW, if the whole service entailed all of the saints speaking in tongues then folks would not understand and think we are crazy.

23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
