AFF Lunch Meeting!
 

I was able, actually BLESSED, to have lunch with NotofWorks and his beautiful family this past Sunday at the start of my mini-vacation!

I was blessed, not just by the amazing lunch that he bought me and my daughter (BTW NOW, did you hear her when she said that the bread changed her life?? LOL!)

It was such an inspiring meeting and I have thought about our conversation repeatedly the last few days! And it was a joy to see your wife after all of these years!

I may not agree with some of his doctrine but he has a heart for Christ. :)

It was great! You should have been there! It was almost as much fun as the Natural History Museum in DC with you and your family! :thumbsup

I thought so, but somehow I have it in my head that it was closed for renovations. Must have a different one, I just plumb "corn-fused" as my Granny used to say!! LOL!

That bread is amazing, isn't it? And you and your daughter are amazing, as well. For whatever else you do or don't do in your lifetime, you've excelled in the most important thing that's been placed in your hands.....raising a great young lady! Noah built an ark to the saving of his household and your ark has saved your household. Be very proud of that!

Thanks for taking time out of your mini-vacation to spend a couple hours with us! Thank you for making us laugh, cry, remember, and hope for a great future. You are totally cool!

I'm confident that whatever paths that are in front of you, God will continue open doors that should be opened, and will close those that should be closed. And may you have the boldness to walk through the open doors!

Thanks for your compliments regarding my daughter, she is the thing in my life that I am most proud of! Your children were beautiful, there is much love in your family and that always tells so much! We did share some tears, and a lot of laughs! And a very special prayer, that I will carry in my heart for quite a while.

Or does it mean that you are like me and that swollenness is all me and fixin' to stay that way. THAT I understand - believe me! But don't let anyone beat you up over it. Who you are is not determined by the size of your dress or your pants.

Oh dear lord, NO!!! That is definitely NOT what I meant!!!! LOL!!!

Yes, I was being coy about a weight gain that I am very uncomfortable with, I have got to get it under control! I know what you mean, and I don't let it get me down too bad, but I need to do something about it for my health if for no other reason. I hate feeling worn out by the smallest things, I just need to be more active!
