Crawdads swim in slow moving fresh water creeks and are also know as mud daubers. They make great bait.

Crawfish swim in open waters found along the coast either fresh or salt. They are great boiled with taters and onions!

When I was a kid, we fished crawdads out of holes in the front yard ditches after a good rain.:)
