I Are A Student!
 

Well, after almost thirty years (yikers!!!!) away from formal schooling, I am enrolled at BCIT & Academy Of Learning.
I will be a student 4 hours a day five days a week & two nights a week at 3 hours a night.

Pray that brain can be jump started from being so dusty these past three decades!

I am taking Operations Management & Warehouse Management 2 at BCIT.
In June I will take a Purchasing course as well there.

At Academy Of Learning they want me to take Keyboarding, Access 1 & 2
Excell 1, Business Math, Bookkeeping 1 & 2

The theory being, if I work as a Manager of a warehouse with more of an inside function I more than likely will be Manager over those in the office.

I went back to school when I was 35 and was scared you-know-what, but after the first day I saw that I was far more capable then most of the rest of the class since the majority were just out of high school -a full third didn't make it past the first 8 week block of classes.

Well, I are off to the first day of school!
My kids were teasing me last night saying that I should dress well & get my pic taken before I leave the house & that that I shouldn't be afraid & they will see me when I get home!

You might want to start off by saying, "I'm off to the first day of school" and leave out the "are" to get a better grade in English! LOL!

Congrats, Ron. I have been taking classes the last few years (not full time). I was really scared the first class, but I have found out I can do it! There is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment. I think older students are much more motivated. I am presently taking an anatomy and physiology class online....it is the hardest class I have taken. It doesn't look like I will get an A, but all the other students are saying the same, but we will triumph!:thumbsup I'm sure you will do well.

Very generally, I have figured out I am a girl.

Beyond that, I am studying the circulatory system, lymphatic system, cellular metabolism, etc. etc.

And believe me, that don't come naturally!! :foottap
