OH, I see! Bro. & Sis McGaha have pastored in Hurst, Tx for 50 yrs. I just
heard they are celebrating their 50th Anniv. They could be retiring, etc. Not
for sure. Heard something to that effect!

I just want to say thanks again for all the warm welcomes. If anybody knows of any Churches or Pastors on a personal level in Hurst (As was mentioned) or the DFW (Dallas/Ft Worth) area, please send me a PM (Personal Message) with contact info and your name for reference.

I was briefly talking to Brother Foster out of the Dallas area on the phone and then he got sick with cancer and we haven't spoken since. Has anyone heard if he ever recovered? Thanks again..

I was mistaken about the McGahas pastoring in Hurst,TX for 50 yrs. I should
have caught that as I have known them for many yrs.
They are celebrating their 50th wedding Anniv.

Brother I just met him tonight at his WED Night Service, very tender and sincere man. He is having his 50th Wed Anniv party this Friday.

I asked if he knew a Falla and he asked me from where. I said I had no idea or if that was even your name. No clue.. Anywho he's gonna have coffee with me sometime soon, looking fwd to some good fellowship..

I emailed him just now as he doesn't know my forum avatar. BUT he and
his wife know me well! We go way back.
They are wonderful people. We had our 50th last July.
Incidentally, I am the sister! LOL!
