I've seen a couple of things in some of my grandkids' Facebook pages I would rather not have seen.

So she was logged into his account when she posted a comment on someones pages?

My wife teaches a computers applications class to high schoolers and there favorite thing to do when people leave the lab and forget to log out of Facebook is to create a special status for the person who left there FB logged in.

You wouldn't believe how many kids came out of the closet this year on FB.

My mom is bad about this too (Sorry mom if you're lurking)... I've noticed a lot of older people (but not all) tend to post their "status" on the first open text field they see, not realizing that they may be posting their church picnic invitation as a response (accidently) underneath someone else's birth announcement, for example.

I have an older friend that post everything she posts in her status. She answers others in her status - - it's hilarious!

One day her status was: Sure, you guys come at 2:00.

Yes...I haven't actually asked her about it yet, but more than likely he left it logged in and she just didn't realize it wasn't her profile. :)

However, I have my kids passwords and routinely log in to check on them, and I have nearly done the same thing a couple of times.

That's cute! My Mom has a hard time figuring out where to post, too.

I almost did the same thing the other day. My son wouldn't have been amused.

As a joke, my son posted a status on his dad's facebook because his dad left it open. The status was talking about how the heat was killing him and it was in dead of winter. My husband wasn't amused. I was rotfl.

I've seen several kids to it to their parents. One girl got on her mom's acct and raved about what a great daughter she had (herself). ;)

At my last job, it was approved that if anyone left their desk without locking their computer, we could "Hasselhoff" them. IE we'd go to google images and find a large image of David Hasselhoff (the guy from Baywatch) and post that as their desktop image.

Sometimes we'd use other images ... Carebears, Rainbow Brite, etc.

I did get a warning once for ghosting someone's email (Our email client let me create a secondary email address with my supervisors name, but my email address was the return address, I couldn't change it) so it looked like my supervisor, during a dead period, had sent an email to a few guys requesting a one on one meeting.

It was hilarious watching these guys stand up all nervous and walk to the room for the "meeting," sit there for a couple minutes then walk out looking confused and talk with the supervisor, then sit back at their desk. After the third guy talked to the supervisor, the sup stood up and asked, "would anyone that has received an email allegedly from me please forward it to me - I am not having one on one's tonight."

It wasn't but about 60 seconds before I heard my last name booming from his desk. I then took a walk to the room to meet with my sup. He said he appreciated the prank, but had to give me a verbal warning because it could have disrupted call volume, even though there were no calls coming in at that time.

I worked overnight tech support, it was crazy fun.

Re: Mom...don't make me change my password!

My girls and their friends from church are REALLY bad about posting facebook status from people's cell phones if they leave them laying around. If the person is stupid enough to leave their cell phone unattended--and they have facebook listed in their contact list, they are fair game. They only do this with friends from church though. I don't leave my cell phone laying around... I know they'd love to do that to me too. :D
