I was asked to leave AMF for Apostolic Ministry

After being on the Apostolic Ministers Forum for about 24 hours, I was asked to leave and not post again. Seems that they did not appreciate me telling that 37 had received the Holy Ghost the Sunday before and we baptized 21. Seems that no one else was reporting any Apostolic results and they did not really like people being saved, healed, delivered and blessed - outside their box.
I left without a fight and said Goodbye! So I thought that I might just stop by here and say hey tonight!
God bless you all - In JESUS NAME!

OH - And I even SHAVED to join them!!!!!!!!! NOT! LOL

Some of these people are probably used to having 37 in attendance on a Sunday morning. Did any get all defensive and say "But did they speak in tongues??"?

Yeah, but did those 37 people receive the REAL Holy Ghost?
Did you and at least one other witness personally hear each one speak with tongues?
And are you sure those 21 people were baptized properly?
Were they completely submerged and did you clearly enunciate the name Jesus with at least one title like Lord and Christ so they would know which Jesus (there are more than one with that name in the New Testament) you meant?
And did they have on any jewelry (including watches or rings) when they supposedly received the Holy Ghost or were baptized?

Good news that you are back here. Been missing you! One thing that I know is that some think that "if it don't happen under our label then it isn't real". Unfortunately I think that most denominations are that way.

AB, you and I are both familiar with those circles. They are so narrow minded that if they fell on a straight pin it would put BOTH of their eyes out!!!! (Tenneyism"

Intolerant, unforgiving and just plain downright MEAN! So much unlike Jesus Christ it is really sad. I guess the saddest part is that I used to be JUST like that! Thank God Almighty I'm free at last!!! :D

BTW, happy Father's Day!

AWEEEEE! You guys made my morning! Thanks! Glad to be back!
Happy Fathers Day to you all! I have today off and am going with my family to Free Chapel with Pastor Jentezen Franklin. He has always been so kind to me. Bishop Tenney preached a few weeks ago and Madonna Massey will minister on July 9 & 10 and we are all excited about it.
Have a great day and stay off of that AMF! Those initials make me shudder! LOL

I am sorry that people can be so mean ... I too have been run down and talked about and some of the ones that run their mouth do not even know me....sad people would spend their time and phone calls to try to kill others.

My sisters are not in OUR kind of churches but one of them asked me when I was home if Pentecostal preachers still try to kill each other...a tear triclked down my cheek as I turned around to the window and said yes...still hurting from wounds made in the house of God by some once friends....

She did not see the tear but after a while I smiled and told her that God has blessed me with many friends and for every stab many run to the rescue...so there is both good and bad...killers and healers....wheat and tare....

May GOD help us who read this be filled with love that can see above differences and kindness to walk away and do our best to keep the right spirit....and that is easier said than done....(for we are all humans after all)

I am a member of several forums but I post more on this forum...we may all be different but I try to be kind and have always even in differences been treated with highest respect.

I have seen people be hard, cold and cruel and when it came home to them the fall was great and bitter....I am talked about and have recieved mail concerning some of my friends but those that SEEMED so concerned I doubt would walk across the street to help me...at least they never have....so when people say things sometimes they just do it for points with the brethern HOWEVER whatever we sow we reap....

It is easy to tell someone else how to grow a good garden until you have one then it is another story...easy to preach about the saints kids until your kids do the same thing....easy to preach against christmas until you take a church that pays good tithes and celebrates christmas.....lol...and on and on....many people do not really believe what they say they do....watch how they change when they change pastures....

The best thing is try to be a CHRISTIAN.....I Cor 13....is the rule we will be judged by along with the rest of the Bible....

Sis. Alvear,
So true! And to be filled with the love that will make the difference, we need to be filled (no room for anything else) with the HOLY GHOST!
If a glass is half full, three quarters full, there is still a lack. We need to be FILLED with the Spirit!

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost [NKJV: Holy Spirit] which is given unto us.

Hugs,

Falla39

Welcome back, Bishop,
although that naked face looks a little different,
whether you go natural (bearded), semi-natural (trimmed and shaped) or naked (shaved), I have no problem either way.

To MOW, and AB and some others,
Wasn't it great when you learned that the House of God was so much larger than the little room we were in?
and
Wasn't it a great relief when you found out that God is the only real Judge of His people (ref Romans 14:4) and we are to butt out and let Him do His job?

I agree, Mother A...

Hear this from The Living Bible translation...

1 Cor 13:4-7

4 Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud,

5 never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.

6 It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.

7 If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him. TLB

Even if someone's view of the NB differs from our own, love should reign supreme.

As far as I can tell, the UNITED Pentecostal Church was formed DESPITE differing views of the NB. It was their love for the brethren which prevailed.

"...admonishing all BRETHREN that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the Body."

The mistake today, as I see it from my house, is their lack of viewing those with differing views as being part of the Body.

It's more than sad...it's tragic!

It's good to see someone standing for the truth, as you are Sam. The only thing I would add is concerning the 37 speaking in tongues. Did those people speak with REAL tongues? Sometimes folks will speak in tongues, but it's not the real oneness tongues but trinitarian tongues.

Hmm. I checked too and failed to see to any rejection of 37 people recieving the Holy Ghost. I may have missed it somewhere, but did not see it. I saw another issue being discussed unrelated to 37 people recieving the Holy Ghost. I will continue looking though.

Can you give scripture where one must believe Jesus is God to be saved? It's not the 'unless you believe I am' passage. Most people will post that.

How can a christian not believe Jesus is God?

Both the trinitarians and the oneness folks that I know believe that Jesus is Jehovah God of the Old Testament come in flesh. They may use different terms such as persons, personalities, personas, roles, masks, manifestations, offices, etc to describe it but they do believe Jesus is Jehovah or the I AM of the Old Testament.

"Standards" and "Proudfather" and the rest of the AMF crew are just a sad misrepresentation of what "Apostolic" is really about.
