LTK Kid's Camp 2010
 

Love and Truth's Kid's Camp was incredible!!! We had two children receive the Holy Ghost! I witnessed the one, and the other counselor witnessed the other one!! It was just awesome! I loved every second of it and we will definitely be going back next year!!! There is nothing better than seeing 108 children worshiping God together - in one place, one mind and in one accord!!! Awesome!

Couldn't have described it better myself - and bonus blessing was meeting you in person! I didn't have a clue you were coming! God blessed in such a mighty way - just one of those things you had to see to believe! Working with the ministry interns was a joy - and learning such a thing exists. Those kids are and will be awesome workers for God.

I'm so glad that both of you got to come to L & T Kid's Camp!! I have not heard how many kids total got the Holy Ghost, but I know it was a lot!

Yes, a lot of kids received the Holy Ghost! It was so neat!!! I just enjoyed the simplicity of camp! It was incredible!!!

You know.... simple. It's "camp". No phone ,no lights, no motor cars.

I would guess she means you can wear the same kind of clothes to service as you wear during the day. Not a whole lot of rules, other than to be modest!

to me, Simplicity of message - changed from the inside out - the process God uses to "transform" His children - and not having to bring alot of extra clothes to wash when you get home was just "icing" for the adults!!!!

It was just simple...plain and simple...and I loved it!!! Yes, I got to wear the same clothes at night that I wore during the day! I loved that! And yes, not too many rules...very nice. Also, I loved no phones, no ipods, no computers, no email - great for someone who is busy like me - I need times like that! And yes, the simplicity of the messages was just awe-inspiring. They were just right on, not drug out...I loved it!

And it was at a beautiful campground that was VERY calming and relaxing. It was just a great camp all around!

my 11 year old granddaughter commented that it was nice not having to keep up with her phone!!!!! it's all but glued to her hand, and she loved that freedome! can't wait til next year!!!!!

It sounds like a great time. I know I loved all the camps I attended. In the "olden" days there were no "kids" only camps, but it was still a wonderful experience.

50 years ago today I received the Holy Ghost at Bible Camp in Trego, WI
and was baptized in Jesus Name the following night.

I received the Holy Ghost at Illinois teen camp in 1972; I'll never forget that night!
