My DIL had a boy at 1AM this morning. It's a boy. Joshua Landon. 8lbs. 9oz. 21 3/4in. I AM SO EXCITED.

They sent 3 of the kids up here. Austin, Jacob, and Amelia. Amelia is in here with me, the boys are with Papa.

My husband gets home around 2 am. He said he saw a lot of cars there. I told him she had him at 1 am, he said: she couldn't wait an hour? I said she's been ready to have that kid for 3 weeks.........:lol

CONGRATULATIONS, CINDY!

Got you beat on the grandchildren though! Had our 21st grandchild, two
weeks ago this past Monday. Ella Caroline Grace ? That made us six grand-
girls and we have 15 grandboys! One little Great-granddaughter, Natalie!

Of course we are quite a bit older than you! We probably won't have many,
if any, more grandchildren, but the great-grands will come along, I'm sure.

At the present we only have our eldest grandson married. He and his wife
had their first baby about three weeks after their sixth anniversary. She will
be six months old in a few days.

I love this little boy's name! Joshua Landon. We have a 15 yr old grandson,
Landon Paul. Love those GRANDCHILDREN!:thumbsup

Super Fantastic!!! Congratulations, Cindy! I've been waiting to hear this news :) So glad that everything went just fine for both of them. Joshua is lucky to have such a wonderful Grandma :thumbsup

And Falla, congrats on your new little one too! You said that this will probably be your last new grandchild. I have to tell you a funny (only because it's not ME that it happened to. LOL). A friend of mine is 46 years old. She's been having some issues with pain in her hip. So she went to the doctor. Before they could do an Xray they had to do a pregnancy test. Guess what! Yep! positive! Her youngest child is graduation high school this year. But not anymore. So I guess we never say never, eh? hehheehhee

What an interesting story. I have seen programs on TV, where women have babies, when they think they have been done for years.

LOL! Margie, my husband and I had our first child 50 yrs ago. One year later his mother
who was 43, was having some issues and went to the doctor. She told him she felt like
she was going "through the change"! After running some tests, he assured her she was
"going to have a change all right, and it was going to have two little legs"! That little boy
brought my in-laws SO much joy in the coming years. My mother in law died of cancer in
1978, and that teenaged son was such a consolation to his father who was in in years.
Many times what people might think of as a disaster, turns out to be one of life's great-
est blessings!
We would consider more grandchildren just additional blessings. This last little one was
our youngest son and wife's child. They are so thrilled with this third child. They have a
7 yr. old daughter and a 4 yr son. Some of our children CAN'T have more children. Not
saying it couldn't happen.

My grandmother had 3 grandchildren before she had my father, her last child. She was born in 1895 and my father in 1935. So she was 40 when she had him. He was her 9th.
