Re: Four State Men's Meeting (Elder Epley)

Things have been a lot quieter around here since Elder Epley has not been posting.

I miss him.

I didn't always agree with him but I appreciated him as a man of God.

He had a very colorful way of expressing himself. I think we even had a collection of Epleyisms on here for a while. And I'm sure he has a prominent place in the future book of "AFF Quotes" when it is published.

I wish I could find that famous picture of him standing on a box and peeping over the pulpit.

Well, folks, it is I, Elder Epley. I've had a change of heart and mind. A miracle for someone in older age. I've been hanging around and you never knew it!

I'm going to have to start being a bit nicer to Elder E. He's pastoring now in a piece of "God's Country."

Congrats Elder. I wasn't aware that you had settled back down to pastoring again. Wish you all the best!

He's about 6 hours away from St. Louis. Several friends of mine go to his church, I only recently realized that their pastor is the "Elder Epley" I've heard referred to here. lol

I trust that the HOLY SPIRIT is manifested in a great way in this meeting.

He used to live about 3 hours from me and he fellowshipped with a church about 45 minutes from me. I have given him my cell phone number and he has an open invitation to be my guest for lunch or dinner at Pappadeaux which is about 10 minutes from my house

I have never met him or talked to him in person

Hopefully I will get to see Elder Epley next time he treks to or through the Nashville area. It has been awhile since we broke bread.

No way...way to much punctuation to be Epley.

I agree that there is no doubt Max is not Elder Epley. I don't recall one single post about "butchering the hogs"!
