Sex Before Dinner, Does God Approve?
 

What say ye? Does your pastor still preach against sex before dinner? Why are so many falling away and enjoying a little afternoon delight? Is this a sign of the end times?

I seriously think there are things some Pastors should not "preach"......... What would be the sin in that ............. seriously . Just plain unlearned.

Its been a few years ago but I can remeber tha basic point was not fullfilling the lust of the eye. The old men arevisual thing was used. " If a man wants to have sex in the daylight or with the lights on he is doing it in order to see your nakedness and is fulfilling the lust of the eye instaed of out of love"! This was adressed to the married women!

Sounds like that should have been addressed to the married MEN! Addressing the ladies put the burden on them to turn off the lights!

If I were to guess "why" I would guess it has to do with submission, but who knows.

It surely doesn't have anything to do with the "mission" field.

Sister, I agree with you 99% of the time, but I would have to disagree with you on this point. We have a horrible lack of knowledge in the church regarding sex. When my husband and I got married, we were recommended a book (whispered) by a friend by Tim LaHaye called "The Act of Marriage". This was such an incredible help to us, who understood the mechanics of sex, but didn't know enough about each other nor the importance of it to a marriage (particulary after the hormones slow down).
