As for Joel Osteen ... I understand he didn't "speak" per se ...

He was interviewed by Scott Jones, the chairman .... a UPCI minister remarked that they were stunned by Osteen's humility

The consensus was that Chris Hodges, who spoke multiple times, stole the show.

Those familiar with Global know its push is toward networking ministers ... and not churches

global conferences are never very big that i have seen. It is a much smaller org. Than the upci and their conferences are not social events for a closed culture like gen conf is for upcers.
