That is incredible. FYI: I wouldn't read the comments. I'm sure they will get pretty colorful.

Oh man, that's horrible! I think I would have called 911 on the white guy to, but who knows unless you're in that situation?

Hardly funny....really sad...we hate to admit the stereotypical attitudes that we have....and what was sad was not only the whites but the blacks share those attitudes about their own color.

What a shame.

You should only imagine-- then maybe you shouldn't.

It is VERY interesting how in America we associate certain crimes with certain races-- when discussing race and crime in America.

For example, when was the last time you heard the term "drive-by" and had a mental picture of middle-aged Chinese woman driving her Volvo?

Truth of the matter is that in order for a stereotype to even be a stereotype, there has to be some truth behind it.

Profiling leads to stereotypes; stereotypes to prejudice; prejudice to racism; and racism to death.

Who said racism has gone away in America?

Honestly, I am not sure I would called the police on either one of them, unless it was really obvious the guy was stealing, and not just trying to retrieve his bike from a faulty locking mechanism.

I watched this show and it was very interesting.

Even more interesting was when they switched it to a pretty, young blonde woman. EVERY man that passed was willing to help her - - even after she mentioned it wasn't her bike.

It is!

Classic example of gut reactions, instincts, and how both are "informed" by our skewed perception of life.

I can remember in the 80's and 90's where the "Pro-Black" people (adults and students) assailed Hollywood and the news media for being racially biased AGAINST black people-- as in always showing black people in not so positive terms or in negative terms.

I think it is interesting that the "Conservatives" have taken up that same mantra today.

Indeed, if you read the autobiography of SC Justice Clarence Thomas, you can see that there are only a few degrees of separation between the thought processes of some "Pro-Black" people and some "Conservatives.

Of course, my laughter is tinged with a bit of pain when I look at this video.

We can't legislate thoughts.

We have come a long way, but we have a long way to go.

Well, yeah, of course. Duh.

:toofunny

By the way, you might not want to watch the "Painful Clip" (or something like that) offered at the end of the bike video. Oh, man, talk about painful to watch!
