this is why it is so easy for these people to fall for politicians that promise them anything...they could tell you nothing about what the politicans stand for....all they want is to survive....

Have been a missionary for over 42 years....but I weep over things like this...we are so blessed...so blessed...

May God help us that no matter how many trials we may go through that we do not become hard and cold at the needs of others....

well...well...am sitting in the airport in Rio...tired beyond words...but so happy this little ladies need was met.

Owl...I live in a nice home that cost me nothing...a pastor had it built for us...however I know what it is to be in places much worse...God has smiled on me and I am forever grateful but even my home that was given to us is deeded to the church ...lol....

I have no desire to really own anything...my kids might have to worry about my bills if I should pass but sure don't have much to leave...except that I have tried to be a godly mother....

Re: ok...here it is...

some of my husbands family lives in worse....in the slums of Chile...My mother and father in law lived in shanty towns...dirt floors and all...

I wish I could help everybody in the world....I cannot but some way I do want to be a help to God's little ones that were born into dire poverty.

This is not as strange as it seems, there are these homes up around Taos, NM called Earthships that are built out of mud walls and castoffs like old tires and bottles. The whole goal is for the house to be self-sufficient and it seems to be successful. But I can guarantee you that they're much more expensive than these homes!

We may never have funds to help all the poverty stricken areas of our world however we do have the duty to help God's people.
