He is stable but still serious. I know the area he was shot in. Bad area. I actually used to deliver news papers there.

He's in ICU. I heard it was a large caliber round. He will probably be recovering for a while

the kid is hispanic, but he does not look anything like a gangbanger and I heard he was not one.

However supposedly the shooters were black and given the area where he was at, this might have been gang related

This same thing happened here in Memphis. A kid was walking home from school and he had on a red jacket and cap. He walked in the wrong area where the gang of that area was in a tuff with the other gang that wore red.

They just shot him because he had on red.
