Who Is That Singing At GC?
At the end of DKB's Gen Conference sermon tonight there is a woman singing. Can somebody tell me who that is? I wouldn't spring for the broadband hookup and my free 56k connection is so blurry I can't tell who she is.

I just asked someone the same thing - - if I get an answer, I'll let you know.

Re: Who Is That Singing At GC?
I like her voice, the backup and the song EXCEPT the song needs a little more to it than the very catchy part she has now sung 52,419 times. I really liked it the first 26,112 times.

I like her voice, the arrangement, and the band. I would buy one of her CD's if she has any.

Now, "Lord of the Miracles" - - well, at least there are more words.

Re: Who Is That Singing At GC?
More than likely it's the guest choir that sang tonight......

Re: Who Is That Singing At GC?
Was it not the New Life UPC Choir, in Austin, Tx, where Bro. David Bernard pastored,
now pastored by Bro. Rodney Shaw. Falla39 |

I'll do a little research on their church website. |
Re: Who Is That Singing At GC?
If the soloist is the choir director - - here's their names:
Jared and Rachel Wood http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...raig/choir.jpg As far as I can tell from this picture, it does look a bit like the lady singing last night. |

I honestly believe that many have been "sheltered" from much of the world's horrors, etc. because of the prayers, lives, of their godly "fathers/mothers, that they have taken much for granted. They were spared much, but just as those Jews, in John 10, that believed on Jesus, until he told them that IF they continued in his Word, they would be his disciples indeed. And they would know the truth and the truth would make them free. They responded that they were Abraham's children and were never in bondage to any man. Jesus replied that they were Abraham's seed (natural) but they were of their father, the devil. They thought they were okay by being Abraham's seed according to the flesh. But those that are Abraham's seed according to the PROMISE is what saves us. Those that are Christ's are Abraham's seed. Read Gal.3. The entire chapter. Those Jews were not around when their forefathers was in bondage for 400 yrs. They didn't realize that those who went before them were literally in Egypt's bondage. Like those who don't listen to those who have gone before will possibly have to go through some "bondage" themselves. Sin is bondage and those who continue in sin will remain in bondage. Sometimes "children" of godly parents, grandparents, etc., seem to feel they are okay because their family was in church when they were born. But every generation MUST pass the truth on to the next generation. The children of Israel were told to tell it to your children and your children's children. There will always be those who don't follow through. It begins with "training up a child in the way they SHOULD go". But there are always those who think they have a better way. There is only one Way, and one Door. Jesus fixed it that way! Falla39 |
