I am not a pro sports fan, but I did like to see the Rangers play back in the day. Taking the kids to Arlington Stadium. And now they are going to the World Series.

I went to Arlington Stadium as a kid, been a fan since I was born.

Watching the Josh Hamilton press conference, he continues to mention what God did in his life and how he redeemed him. He was asked "Josh is the the top of the mountain for you"

He replied "The top of the mountain will be when I stand before my Savior". :thumbsup

Josh has overcome alcoholism, he was quietly avoiding the champagne celebrations in the clubhouse. JC Wilson noticed, and talked the team into using Ginger Ale so Josh could participate, so it has been Ginger Ale ever since.

World Series bound!!!! Go Rangers!!!

Go Rangers unless the Giants make it to the Series!!!

(So, fellow Texans. I'm a Bay Area transplant. Only been here 23 years. Full Texanizing will take more time. :lol)

I'm pulling for the Giants to make it, then for Texas to lay the smackdown.

Yeah, I know. In fact, some Texans measure Texanness in number of generations, and one just won't cut it! ;)

True dat! LOL!

My oldest son was born in Louisiana while we were visiting relitives for christmas. he got back accross the Sabine at just 2 weeks old. He is NOT a Texan.

my youngest was born in Texas, but being that neither his mother nor I was born here... well, he kinda aint either I suppose.

I'm a selective sports fan. Love hockey. Watch the Superbowl and the major UT games, but otherwise, not much of a football fan. Baseball? Well, I'll be a rabid Giants fan for the next several days. lol
