She a humble Coronet 440 with 318 Eng automatic numbers matching surviver.

In 69' the 318 Eng stock with 2bbl had 230 horse with 340 torque.

Not bad for a small block.

I hope to get close to 300 hp with these add ons.

Also I will be going from 2:73 gears to 3:91 gears.

Combine that with the shift kit, it aught to snap your neck.:heeheehee

Oh the years of real muscle...I had a 70 GTX with 440 magnum (400 horse) pop-ups, 3.91 rear, 3/4 cam but a carter 4 barrel (hog) did 150+ did it once and never returned. Only automatic i ever saw that would pop the wheels. other than a rail. Love those cars, Ever seen the hemi-cuda?

My wife is from Amarillo. We became suddenly homeless, because the house we were renting was getting sold with out any warning. We had lived there for three years.

With no money to put up another deposit plus first months rent, my wife said; "I am going to Amarillo with or with out you."

So in about three days we sold everything and with my Pastors blessing, packed up and headed here.

Let me know you're progress, I've really got a hankerin' for those "power hungry" searches. Those cars, simple and strong. I think overall, the 318 and 327 rival as the simplest motors to trick out. Good luck.

After the mods I make, My dodge and your GT Stang might be a good match up.....If you don't use NOS.

Maybe we can do a 1/4 mile run. Then we both can post our times and speed.
There is a strip near by. Is there one near you?
