Some brutal honesty.

What is a person to do when he realizes that he has made full-circle in his beliefs? What he believes today is what he believed when he started out in his faith, and it is outside of the “Oneness” “Jesus Only” “Apostolic” paradigm.

If you believe that your beliefs are based on the Scriptures and not upon tradition or what you were taught about the Scriptures, relax and just rest in Jesus.

Maybe he should try to keep on going in circles until he stops at the correct spot?

I can give only four suggestions:
Continue in your studies in the word of God.
Continue to be teachable.
Keep your conscience clear before God.
and keep this in your heart:
1 John 3:19-24

Nothing wrong with maturing in your belief system. Now if you made this complete circle three or more times, I would have to start asking if your Bill Price posting incognito.

Pray, analyze what you have read and what you know, and pray some more.

If and when you leave the Oneness movement, please take with you their fervency in prayer!

There's a reason God allowed you to go this route. Be grateful for waht you have learned and, if it is time for you to turn the page, turn the page.

In one of my favorite T. D. Jakes sermons, he recounts his Apostolic heritage and finishes that part of his sermon with, "Oh I thank God for what I learned. I thank God for what I learned."

You can join my new cult. These old ones have too many people arguing and it is time for a new one but you have to be able to have facial hair - the Angels demand it!

Repent, and come back to the Truth.

You must know that your nature teaches you to have facial hair - especially if you are Hispanic or Black! Why even the UPC let the Latinos and Black brothers slide! The ones that preached so hard against it could not grow a decent beard so they had to preach against it as they felt so inadequate!

Did you ever see a picture of Jesus and his Disciples - the APOSTLES (I thought you guys were - Apostolic???) without beards? Lord have mercy!

GROW THAT HISPANIC FACIAL HAIR OUT SO THE ANGELS CAN GET IN IT!
What is it with these white faced clean shaven bald headed sissy's preaching against facial hair???

I feel comfortable that you can still believe in and walk a one-God faith without any association with the “Oneness” “Jesus Only” “Apostolic” paradigm. You'll be labeled "charismatic" or, according to some, "backslidden" (especially if you LEAVE OUT the term "UPC"). Find your walk with Him for you and you only; if need be, go back and re-read the "black and white". Leave the "gray" for you to work out between you and God.

I sense strong reservation coming from you on certain topics (and I say reservation since I don't want to call it bitterness; I don't know you, and I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt). If you have to start all over with your walk (if that's your desire right now), by all means do it. I don't believe in much of the traditional UPC doctrine. In another post/thread of mine, I clearly spelled out where I stand: repent, be baptized, be filled, then work your own salvation from there (in other words, once being baptized and filled, maintain your own walk).

Just my input and certainly not telling you you're condemned if you do otherwise. I'm not the Judge.

Yes, I am a real Evangelist, and no, I wasn't being serious earlier; just waiting for someone to take the bait. My sense of humor works much better in person. If you have the Holy Ghost, He will lead you into all Truth, so be encouraged that you will be on the right path so long as you are following His guidance.

Atlanta Bishop, are you a real Bishop, and if so, are you really from Atlanta?

The meaning of Rev changed after Rev Al Sharpton and the Rev Jesse Jackson came along.

Yep, I am a real Bishop and I am really from Atlanta!
I minister mostly in the Black Church and have most of my life. I spent 11 years in the UPC and 18 in the UC Apostolic movement. I have been in ministry for over 35 years. Anything else?

When I was a brand new baby Christian back in 1955 at the age of 17,
I was encouraged to memorize Scripture.
The first verse I learned was John 3:16.
The second passage was Proverbs 3: 5-6 (King James of course)
I've remembered it all these years and just recently memorized verses 7 - 10 to go with it.

P.S. It's a lot harder memorizing and retaining scripture now that I'm past 70 than it was when I was a teenager.
