Urgent Prayer For a Pastor's Family
 

A pastor and family in Joplin, MO - Monday night his 14 yr old daughter accidently shot and killed one of her best friends at a slumber party. There were four girls in the room at the time of the shooting, and I cannot even imagine what they are going through right now. Not only are the pastor and his wife trying to comfort their daughter, but they must minister to the families that have suffered such great loss.

Appreciating all the prayers. The minister's wife is my cousin, and his in-laws, also in ministry, are trying to get out there to pray with them and be there, but have been held up due to storms in eastern Canada restricting air travel. We are believing God for grace beyond grace in all of this.

This is a terrible tragedy for all concerned and I pray that God will be very near to these families at this time, may He comfort them and give them strength.

The press and authorites did their darndest not to release the name (first and last) and protect the identity of the young lady who did this ....

My goodness, may the grace of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit rest in their hearts as they try to move in this sad situation. May the grace of God become evident through this horrible accident.
