It's not unusual for my small business fuel bill to be $1,000.00 a month. I sure hope that does not increase by 75% !

Yeah, this would have a very tough impact on everything. Think about food shipping and truckers.

Biden is boasting that they are keeping it from 10 dollars.
We owe him gratitude.

Seriously, the crazies are blocking current offshore drilling. They are blaocking gas drilling in New England. They have a blockade on the left coast and they spent 4 trillion to drive the dollar down
All this adds up to higher crude.
Now they can have show trials and hearings and accuse oil companies of extortion and greed.

If gas is $5 a gallon come election time, Biden can pull out any crazy number he wants...not enough people are as stupid as he hopes.

Great!

Just think how much better you are going to be doing when gas gets to five dollars a gallon...better yet...ten dollars a gallon.

I wonder about those people in Brazil that Sis A works with. Maybe they're not spiritual enough. Come to think of it, neither are those seemingly good folks on this board who have trouble paying their bills. Maybe you should give lessons.

My only advice is...keep the faith. God is not slack concerning His promises.

Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

And...blessings ain't always about money. In fact, money is down the list of true blessings.

The lessons are in God's promises. When those blessings do not come, it's not God's fault. Read the promises. Live the covenant.

Sadly, folks would have you believe that sick and in poverty is exactly where God wishes His covenant people, His blood redeemed children, to be.

Folks, if you're sick and broke, it's your own fault.

Now, I am not a person who believes God wants people to be sick and broke, but, neither do I believe that everyone who lives for God is sick and broke but for a lack of faith. As a matter of fact, I find that a bit arrogant.

In Kenya, we pay about $5/gallon and that's about what it was in Belize recently. I'm a little surprised at how cheap it's been in the U.S. up till now.

Nah we bought a gas-powered club car for scooting around the community. We use public transport or occasionally rent a car for everything else. We cant afford these gas prices!

We're going to Indonesia in 5 weeks I think its about $2.5 or $3 there (gotta check my conversions on that tho) but there are about a quarter billion motorcycles (estimated by noise not real number) there so the gas goes a lot further.

It rains on the just and unjust and chance and happenstance happen to all.

When something good happens to me, I just go ahead and "blame it on Jesus", when things aren't so good I quake in my boots...ha ha....well, sort of ha ha...but, I know God is true to His promises and He's never failed.

Concerning faith or lack thereof...you're right there too. I heard it asked once, "how much "faith do you think Lazarus was exercising when Jesus called him from the tomb?"

I just like to keep up with the news. It pays to be a little sharp on economics now and again (literally).

Amazing how you accuse concern about economics as hysteria but are generally bent out of shape over what DK Bernard might write about this week. I've never gone onto one of your many thread and accused you of hysteria.

Yes, it has been cheap in America compared to many other nations. Our economy is completely dependent upon it. When gas goes up, so does everything else.

You obviously do not understand the "Prosperity Gospel" that we are exhorted to preach.

Re: $5.00 a gallon gas

The last time I bought gas was Monday Dec. 27th. I paid $339.9 per gallon. I have a Kroger card and receive discounts. The time before the 27th that I bought gas I received a discount of 65 cents per gallon but I got no discount on the 27th when I had to pay the full price of $339.9. The Krogers I go to is about half a mile from my house and there are several other gas stations nearby --Shell, Marathon, UDF (Mobil), and Walmart, so they all keep their gas at the same price.

Did they discontinue the discount?

No, they did not discontinue the discount, but it varies with how much you have recently spent with their Kroger/US Bank credit card.

Let gas go way up, it will be another nail in Obama's re-election coffin. I think high gas prices were one of the main factors why people voted Obama.

We spend about $800 a month on groceries. A couple of weeks ago we put $1554 on that card for vehicle repair but I guess we've used up all that towards the gas discount. We usually get some kind of gas discount which varies from 10 cents to 65 cents per gallon but every so often (maybe once a month) we do not qualify for the discount.
