I Had Lunch With Timmy, Part II

http://apostolicfriendsforum.com/sho...25&postcount=1

I had lunch with Timmy again today and just wanted to brag. We met his wonderful family this time and greatly enjoyed their company.

Here on AFF, we talk to and respond to words that appear on a screen. But those words always represent a real person with a real story with real feelings.

Timmy is a kind, considerate, warm, and caring person and it's an honor to call him a friend.

Oh, Oh, NOW.
For you to admit that you actually broke bread with Timmy will allow all of us to classify you and him together and judge you both severely because the Bible says, "Birds of a feather, flock together."

Jesus got into all kinds of trouble from the religious folks of His day because He hang out with "sinners." You don't want to be like Him, do you? I would hope you would be more "discerning" and "exclusive" than He was in the type of people with whom you choose to associate.

Well I must say I am surprised Timmy would hang out with a religious person such as yourself.

I didn't eat any beans!

We ate at Chili's. I wasn't hungry and just dibbled at a dessert. The first fine son of Timmy's had a sirloin steak. The second fine son of Timmy's had a sampler, with buffalo chicken strips, eggrolls, and a spinach something-or-other, Timmy had....uhhhh...didn't notice....his wife had.....didn't notice that either.....wait, does anyone care about this?

No pictures. Remember, his identity and mine is top secret. He's with the CIA, and I'm a major spiritual leader known to millions and I can't risk being discovered here.

Well, I have no pics of the food. Just to help, though, I'll go back tomorrow, order the same thing, and post the pictures!:jolly

Haven't seen you around in a while. I wasn't around for a while. Hope you're well.

I think.

Once again, we "forgot" to talk business -- you know, negotiations for that church board position. Just as well, I suppose, since my agent and lawyer weren't present. Maybe next time. :lol

Come to think of it, we didn't even talk about any of you AFFers, as I recall. :heeheehee

Okay. If I ever get over to visit my brother we'll have to grab some tea or something. He lives in the Austin area.

I am headed to NE Houston. That's a pretty good distance from Austin. :)

BTW, I met another AFF poster a while back. Met for dinner at a sports bar, during one of the World Series games. I was expecting a good crowd and lots of noise, but man, was I disappointed. I guess Austinites weren't all that excited about the Rangers. (I was rooting for the Giants, for the record. ;))

So, who was the AFFer? Guess.

Hmmm, an ungodly sports bar... sports = sin, bar = sin... that should narrow it down somewhat.

Hey, I could have been disqualified for many reasons... such as being a friend or family of someone who worked for the company hosting the contest, or auditors or affiliates... you can never be too careful these days.

Exactly. Or the old "void where prohibited" thing. ;)

This is fun... kinda like playing hide and seek with my nieces... "I'm hiding, don't look" and you hear the closet door open and close, and then a muffled voice say, "Ok, I'm ready, come find me!"
