Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Listening to Sean Hannity. DT is hinting very strongly that he is going to run. Said he would make an announcement in a few months.
Would you vote for him? |
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Those are some mighty narrow choices you provided there. I hope no one votes on any of the options unless they actually fit their feelings on the question.
I say this. He has new, fresh and improved rhetoric. But, if elected, would change nothing. More of the same... different flavor. |
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Really ? I dont know, I think he would be pretty harsh. Make a lot of people mad, but for the better of the economy.

Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
I have met DT at a motivational speaking seminar.
He is very engaging and likeable in person. I do not know where he stands on several of the issues that are important to me, however. |
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
I would vote for him, but the economy has already made it's turnaround.
We are on the upswing of things, though it may not have trickled down to everyone yet. Since none of our candidates will be Holy Spirit filled, it does not too much sense to make too big of a deal over his moral issues. Good unsaved people and immoral unsaved people go to hell when they die anyway. |

However, I believe if he could pull it off he would make the recovery a lot faster just with the budget cuts. What I like about him is that he has nothing to lose or gain from doing the right thing. He will have no concern of a political future. |

His casinos have filed for bankruptcy 3 times ... he has himself .... and he has benefited immensely from a creditor-led bailout ..

Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Not a poll option for me... I won't vote for him but it isn't for immorality or because I would be voting for Obama... I just don't understand the fascination this country has with celebrities, and at this point, that is how I see him... just a celebrity who happens to be a businessman. For that matter I don't understand why politician's wives end up in office when the only reason their name is known is because they were married to someone who became a politician.

For that matter, Clint Eastwood was a mayor and Jessie Ventura was a "wrestler", if I remember right, so I guess they aren't all bad. Then there is Ted Nugent! :) |

BUMP
It looks more and more like The Donald is going to make a run. The more I hear him talk the more I am becoming a fan. I think the man understands leadership. He certainly understands economics. Lobbyists couldn't sway him. He would fund his own campaign. He wouldn't need a salary. The man would put country first, I believe. He has stated he would play hardball with China economically. He knows what it would take to rid ourselves of debt. He knows about job creation. He certianly is successful in just about everything he's involved with. He certainly would come to the Oval Office with vast executive experience, unlike the current president. I hope he runs. I think he's more promising than any of the potential GOP candidates. |
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
At worst Trump could smoothly navigate us through our upcoming waters of bankruptcy
|
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
But just how effective could he be with Congress? It's not like he can say 'You're Fired!'.
|
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Since the man knows the private sector,I'm sure he would bring some money making ideas to the table.
|
Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
As of right now I think I would vote for him.

I will never, ever vote for Obama. That's as far as I've got thus far.

Re: Donald Trump for President? Whaddya Think?
Trump is used to running the show.
I do not know how well he would adapt to working within the political framework of our system. |
