SUPER-CON... where is AFF's hero?

AFF needs a hero so conservative that he will make all other conservatives appear as liberals. Please post your qualifications below.

I've always thought it was an over-all general consensus that the Super-Cons would never come to AFF because they would never use the 'ungodly internet'. :winkgrin

They don't have to come online... if a person knows one then he can be our Point of Contact and post the thoughts and the opinions of the Super-Con without the Super-Con ever having to be on the internet.

Super cons are only successful when kept in isolation. Interaction with anyone, especially thinking people who have a knowledge of scripture is their biggest fear. Just give them a pulpit to pound and gullible people to scare into obedience and then they are in their element.

And here I thought I was a Super con!
I guess I have to find a new label!
If that is the definition, then I've only met one of these, in my life.

The super con is the next level above the ultra con. Sorry AG, you just a plain old con, but if you want to move into ultra con status, just start telling more people they are going to hell. :heeheehee

You have a good point. At best our ultra cons are the libs of the ultra con wing! If they were conservative ultra cons they would not be on the internet at all.

You are going to hell for owning a car :P
You are going to hell for having electricity :P
You are going to hell for having running water :P

In short you are going to hell for having luxuries when countless people everywhere have needs :P

And most of those here who would fit into the category of "near Super con" are probably fake profiles.

Its been insinuated--my posting on AFF has been publicly mentioned and rebuked from the pulpit "posting at all hours of the night". Last I checked I rarely post much beyond midnight, and last I checked I also was a grown man living in my own home.

For one thing if I had a pastor that did that he wouldn't be my pastor for long, but I would also be thinking how much fun I could have with him before I left as well.

Ya just gotta take the lemons that some people try to give you, make lemonade, and throw it right back at them. :)

Re: SUPER-CON... where is AFF's hero?

My Super Con Hero was never on AFF.

He was my father. His name was Elam and he went to be Lord several years ago. Though we were Ultra Con - no TV, radio, cameras, microwave, automobile, no beards, wore suspenders and hats, my father was a kind and meek gentleman.

He taught us never to judge "the English" Christians, though he himself was a member in good standing of the Old Order Mennonite church. He valued common sense.

When I was caught recording the preacher on a "forbidden" tape player, he chastised me for recording and mocking the preacher, and he quickly added, "we would be having a different discussion altogether if I thought you were recording so you could share the gospel with the elderly that can't be in church..."

So... I know you are in search for a AAF member, but for me Super Conservative means Elam Hoover who taught me how one can be conservative without raining hellfire on those who practice more liberality.

When my father passed suddenly there were many "English" scattered throughout the crowd of One Thousand. He left a positive Christian witness in many lives.

I have a question,
how did these folks practice water baptism?
Was it by immersion, pouring, or sprinkling?

Pouring. Though, by request it could be done by immersion.

Man... I was going to suggest Jesus but he doesn't post on forums and he was always doing stuff to upset the Cons & Ultra Cons... so he's not the hero you are looking for.
