Holy Ghost on Thursday Night!

We had an awesome service in our new work in Savannah, TN last night. The midweek service went 2-1/2 hours and no one wanted to go home. We had one young man get the Holy Ghost, when he had actually come up to be prayed for--for healing. He got a double portion! God has been visiting our services with unprecedented power both in Jackson and Savannah. Each service, we are just waiting to see what He's going to do. We are excited!!

By the way, Tamor, I was feeling guilty about thinking about going to the doctor today after a healing service. Then someone from church called me and said she was praying for me this morning, and God told her to tell me to go to the Doctor; that a viral infection was trying to invade my body. She didn't even know I was considering it. So I figured that was my green light. Ha! I got a sinus cocktail shot that has already helped alot.

If I had my way, I would be there as soon as I could get a flight. But, Alas, it's not up to me. Ha! I am going to Costa Rica and the Philippines this year. That will be all my overseas trips I imagine. You don't know how badly I want to go back to Kenya, but that will have to wait also! Brazil is definitely on my want to list though!!!

Just got a report from people from the church in this thread and two of them have received huge financial miracles this week. God is good!

We have rented a small place on Florence Road, across from the theatre. It is actually the other half of Qualls Appliances. We went in and totally renovated it in 18 days and it's beautiful.

I'm glad the Lord is moving.

I haven't been in Savannah in almost 30 years. My father has family in that area.

Didn't know you were under the weather, girl, and I am praying.

God's been known to work through the whirlwind, a donkey, and contrary to what some believe, sometimes even women.:highfive

It should not surprise then to know that He also works through doctors...:nod

Glad you went, Sis. C...:thumbsup

It blesses my heart to hear what God is doing through your ministry.

As I have prayed before, Sherri, so I continue to pray that God would bless the work of your hands.:thumbsup

OMG! Talk about a small world. Who is your sister? And what is YOUR name, if you don't mind telling. You can PM me if you'd rather do that.

Did you know that we bought land not too far from New Life to build a new church in Savannah? I grew up in Savannah. Have lived there since I was 6 years old and have lived in Adamsville all my adult life. I married an Adamsville guy first and still live here even after we divorced cause this is my girls home. I wouldn't mind moving back to Savannah though, if the Lord so moves us too.

It is a small world. My sister is Pearl Pickens. My brother Sammy English was attending Love and Truth in Adamsville, I think he still is. He lives at Crump. If you know them you can probably figure out who I am. I'm still new at this and really don't know how to do PM.

How fun! I know Sammy and Linda! I LOVE THEM. They are wonderful. I have known them for years. I think they are still at FaithPointe. This is so cool. I do not know Pearl - by name. If she has gone there for years, I might recognize her if I saw her.

When you talk to Sammy or Linda, tell them that you met Tammy Moraga online. If the last name doesn't jump out at them, use Newell. That was my first married name and I was Tammy Newell for 23 years. It's taking some folks some time for get used to hearing Moraga.

Do you know Bob? I was married to his youngest son, Kenny for 19 yeas. There was Roger, Bob, Sonny, and Shelby (Poole). Bob's kids are Jerry, Vicki, Steve, and Kenny. Do you know any of that bunch?

Nurse Nana 05-12-2007 10:53 PM

I have known Bob and Mary Lou all my life. Knew the kids also but it has been years since have seen the kids. I saw Mary Lou a couple of years ago when my sister and I visited Love and Truth one Sunday with Sammy. They are good people. Bob was good friends with my older brothers.

This is so funny! I am just tripping out over the connection. They are very good folks and I love them alot. Next time I talk to them I will tell them that I met you on here.

I was most probably at Love and Truth when you came to visit. Next time you're down, if you let me know ahead of time, I would love to meet you. We'll show you the new church and land that we've bought.

I'd love to get to see you when you are in the area. It's been a LONG time.

Tiffany may have told you who I am, but if not--my maiden name was Crocker. :)

In the pictures I've seen of her family, she hasn't changed much... and the picture I saw of her with her hair put up, she reminded me so much of you.

Say Hi to Bro J. For me. :D

Yes, she did tell me about you. It would be good to see all of you also. Are your parents doing well? I hope so. They were really a great blessing to us when we lived up there. Tell them hello.
