snakes

I keep dreaming of snakes. Several weeks ago I had a dream that a two headed cobra tried to stroke me.

Lastnight I had a dream that I was in a crowded room. To my left, a long snake stood slowly. The snake was maroon in color. I didn't want the snake to sense my presence. I slowly grabbed something at my right and I tossed it across the room in attempt to distract it. Then I woke up.

They're creepy.

Interesting. Do you believe that these dreams regard a supernatural phenomena? Many people have a fear of snakes and understandably so! Many types are lethal if you are a long way from medical support.

I live in Australia and we have a vast selection of extremely venemous snakes... many more than than North America has to offer. The good news is that they are easily killed. A quick whack in the head with a stick or golf club is very effective. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know what you are doing but we (in the bush/outback) often have to deal with it as the cats catch them and bring them in the house.

Killing snakes for no reason in Australia is illegal; however, the safety of my family supercedes any sanction placed by the government. Many of the indeginous population that still live in camps live off of snake meat anyway. Snakes are okay but certainly need to be served with sauce and a nice smokey woodchip on the barbecue to be considered a delicacy.

Interesting....last week i had a dream about snakes as well. There were several and all were different in color. one thing about them all is that for some reason they honed in on me like I was dinner! One actually bit my foot, but when I took my shoe off there were no marks of penetration. Weird.

Killed one last night and saw another... I am like the Russian that used to work with me, "Good snakes, bad snakes, I all ov'em kill!"

Conversely, I've seen less snakes than ever, this year.

Our dogs like to kill snakes in the back yard. And frogs, scorpions, centipedes... Pretty much anything smaller than themselves. :lol

Not sure. I'm not supersticious. I have noticed that I dream of snakes just before, or as soon as something hits the church. :/

When I dream of snakes it always means a warning. Usually a spirital attack but sometimes a human attack.

A double headed snake could represent a doubleminded person or a two faced person. I have only dreamed of a two headed snake once.

I dream of snakes after I watch "When Snakes Attack!" or after I eat lots of spicy food.

By far the most recurring dream I have is one where I am out and about and come across some amazing sight, whether it be an incredible landscape shot (or even a sighting of bigfoot) -and discover that I left my camera at home!

And then there is the one where I am attending one of my old college classes and am the only one wearing nothing but underwear, or nothing at all.

I don't remember ever dreaming of snakes. I have killed a few copperheads in and outside my house. I don't like them at all.

My hubby had to kill a snake last night. At first I thought it was a stick. :girlytantrum

I like snakes, they are quiet and you only have to feed them like once a month.
I never dream about them though.
