AWCF?

Is anyone here familiar with the awcf? From their website, they have 5 million members. That is bigger than the upci with only 4 million. Is it true that the awcf unites on acts 2:38 and leaves everything else, like holiness standards, to the local church? would like to hear if awcf ministers are annointed preachers or not.

It is true. I was licensed with the AWCF while living in the USA for a year. Back in Canada now, though. I believe I was anointed while in it. lol

The "anointed" sounding preachers can be found in almost every pentecostal group.

Our church fellowships with Bishop Sam Smith (who I believe is their chairman) we are a Pentecostal Assemblies of the World church, and he is an anointed preacher and I can tell he genuinely loves the apostolic faith and is truly IN love with Jesus. He preached this past palm Sunday at our church, numerous people were saved that day and we had a time in the Lord! I need to get the dvd from it, boy we had a mini-revival that morning.

I knew Brother Rowe, Brother Peters and some of the earlier ones...Haven't had connections in years...in fact they many years ago had a conference here in Brazil. The ones I met were very nice.

Just preach true doctrine. Jesus will annoint you. You don't need an organization except for fellowship

There are "anointed" sounding preachers and then there are anointed preachers who genuinely are flowing in the Spirit and their words penetrate hearts and impact souls for eternity, outside of fleshly put-ons and emotionalism.

AWCF is more of an umbrella oneness Jesus' name fellowship than anything else. It was born out of Bishop David Rowe's vision to fulfill Jesus' John 17 prayer that WE be one in unity.

Oneness will win the world by fellowshipping our similarities while at the same time not disfellowshipping over disagreements of opinion.

Ain't it ALL about JESUS?

I enjoy people and am mature enough to know we do not all believe alike. Live what you believe is my motto....

I was a dorm mate at IBC with Luke Smith, Bishop Smiths son. Know the Smith and Fullers. Visited the HQ church several times. Have attended 2 of their conferences.

The AWCF is a "Chamber of Commerce" for Apostolics. Its a fellowship of fellowships. The leaders of various international groups network together. Its got every culture from American black whooping preachers to stern Russians who would tell many of the extra crazy folks here in the USA to sit down and have dignity. You will see Mexican apostolic ladies who wear veils and white ladies who wear makeup. And they all agree to not disagree.

Its not a denomination. Its not super organized. But its very very friendly if you go to their events. You will get a TON of international speaking invites. You may not preach in a big church of thousands that pays a good love offering, but you can easily preach to dozens of local pastors and their flocks who honor a guy who buys his own plane ticket and wants to teach internationally.

The Smiths and especially bishop smith is a 10 out of 10 for being a awesome guy and amazing speaker. If you want to hear a amazing sermon of his http://www.growingchurch.info/media/...el%20Smith.mp3

I listened to Bro. Smith's "State of the Union Address". It was very good. Not something that you would normally here in mainstream Pentecost. I have heard quite a bit of the same things in WPF conferences and other very conservative meetings. I would encourage anyone to take an hour and watch it on their website.
