[you] needs to repent.

Aquila 07-19-2011 09:42 AM

Re: are we constantly shrugging?

Aquila can't repent again. Aquila is dead and buried with Christ. Yet Aquila is alive; not Aquila, but Christ who lives within Aquila.

I only desire to be conformed into Christ's image and likness. Give me... Christ.

You've actually been very even-handed in my looniness and bizarre scribblings, Prax, and for that I'm very grateful.

rivers of living water and Adam is not the same...

I've been accused of preaching over people's head before..:happydance

and that is a good thing :laffatu

If what I have learned from the bible and many years of meditation is hidden from most people then what I have to offer is most essential for all...

I have listened long before I began to speak....

I believe all denominations are in a conspiracy to remain ignorant of God's best..:heeheehee and it's not really funny..

by the way thanks for bringing me into discussion..:highfive

Can you explain this?

If it's hidden then what do you have to offer and how could it be essential if it's hidden?

I assume it is hidden because it appears to be revealed to very few....

since it has been revealed to me; and I don't feel myself to be any more special than anyone else, then it seems to me that it is something everyone in Christ should have.. ..

If our faith shall overcome the world then we ought to have that faith, to do just that.. I feel that we should subdue all nations by the power of Christ..

and we have the Muslims in which to use in the as our mule..:happydance

i know that may sound strange, but as Caleb said , 'the people (giants) are bread for us... I believe in taking old Testament examples and applying them to our operation of faith..:highfive

in answer to your last question...it is essential because it has been hidden..
it has been hidden because very few have ever touched upon it..

They provide us a great platform to preach the gospel of their defeat...

they can be defeated by our faith...

there are many exceeding great promises which we need to know of (we being all the many members of the body of Christ) which also provide us with the power of God to change them at our will.....

Mark 11:23-24 is one promise that comes into mind..this cannot be done by one individual but all of us as a whole..

We should be preaching their defeat, and not fears of Sharia laws in our country, nor fear of Muslims being unreachable...Most of all we have the Muslims ear from here...without ever having to leave the country..

as Caleb said of the giants in the promised land they are bread for us..so too are the Muslims for us...:happydance

You should PM me some of those posts and we can discuss their meaning. I am a fairly interesting guy once you get to know me. I was married in and attended a UPC church from mid 80's to late 90's, as a visitor, never a member, and am still married to my UPC wife going on 22 years and counting. I have a college degree in Computer Science. I was at one time the team leader on an IBM Mainframe computer 'Year 2000' project. I had to install and maintain everything from the ground up. Ah, those were the days.

So, I'm not stupid, just weird, and have probably not read the bible as extensively as you have. I think outside the box too much for my own good. Your hemp thread was hilarious. I understood every single reference you made. And, your reference to Pink Floyd in a music thread recently caught my eye. I think you and I have some things in common.

You are in LA, yes? My son is finishing his Theater degree and wants to be an actor in LA. His best role was as Mitch in the local college production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" and he made his dad proud.

Hit me with a PM for some mutual enlightenment. I extend the offer, Prax. Let's be friends. :)
