I guess I need to stop feeling sorry for myself that the Nashville area has been in the mid 90's the last few days!

And, foundation repair? You should see the cracks in the brick and mortar here. Some of the cracks are big enough I can stick my fingers in part-way. I'm doing my best to keep the foundation watered, which I highly doubt happened before we moved in... |
Re: I'm HOT!
77 degrees here. 80% humidity. Storms in the area.
Humidity is a tad high and the storms a bit strong but I'd rather be here than some other places I can think of. |
Re: I'm HOT!

I was checking out the University of Tucson back in 98/99 and one hit. It lasted 15-20 mins. After the rain stopped, the water almost instantly evaporated. Hard to breath, clothes were damp, and just plain unpleasant. |

Second train derailment in Mineola. Had one a few weeks ago. I think the heat is causing some problems. 108* right now.

Re: I'm HOT!
We cooled off___________only mid 80's today:foottap
And a small shower right after supper. But it's not the hottest summer ever. When we lived in SD, one daughter got married in July,,,,,110; broke the record for that day_________and the record for RC,SD for any day. (at least the church had A/C):thumbsup |

The drought that has turned Texas and parts of the Plains into a parched moonscape of cracked earth could persist into next year, prolonging the misery of farmers and ranchers who have endured a dry spell that is now expected to be the state's worst since the 1950s. |
