Usually here in NorCal at this time of year its over 100-115 (sometimes more). It has been a very mild summer. 1 week of 100 degrees. It has been in the 80's. Although this week it is hitting 95+.

I think we shipped our heat your direction.

I guess I need to stop feeling sorry for myself that the Nashville area has been in the mid 90's the last few days!

Re: I'm HOT!

We are sitting at 73% humidity, here for the desert that is wild.

Temps are supposed to rise today to the 90's, feels pretty good.

Must stink to be you.

Yep, thank God for A/C!!! It was 109 in Dallas Monday. Great for the foundation repair business.

Say, buddy! Please, please don't remind me of Mon's temp. If it did get that hot here, then the forecast is wrong since Mon it wasn't supposed to get but up to about 105. 109 wasn't due 'til mid-week this week.

And, foundation repair? You should see the cracks in the brick and mortar here. Some of the cracks are big enough I can stick my fingers in part-way. I'm doing my best to keep the foundation watered, which I highly doubt happened before we moved in...

77 degrees here. 80% humidity. Storms in the area.

Humidity is a tad high and the storms a bit strong but I'd rather be here than some other places I can think of.

111 for a high here today as well. I never pay attention to the heat index although it is the humid time of the year for the Phoenix valley which makes it much worse.

But, it is Summer time. We live in the desert. I would not expect anything different.

US National Weather Service Little Rock Arkansas

This is officially the hottest day in history for Little Rock. The maximum temperature has climbed to 114 degrees so far, breaking the previous record of 112.

You ever been in Arizona in August, 120 degrees, and a monsoon hits? It's like steaming vegetables. Like a Sauna.

I was checking out the University of Tucson back in 98/99 and one hit. It lasted 15-20 mins. After the rain stopped, the water almost instantly evaporated. Hard to breath, clothes were damp, and just plain unpleasant.

My image of Arizona just melted. lol

Been there or through there many times, but never experienced humidity.

Hey, you better PM me and get those cracks checked out, foundation damage is generally progressive, the sooner addressed the less $$$. LOL

The drought that has turned Texas and parts of the Plains into a parched moonscape of cracked earth could persist into next year, prolonging the misery of farmers and ranchers who have endured a dry spell that is now expected to be the state's worst since the 1950s.

I love it when the weather forecaster's put up PRAY FOR RAIN in their graphics. Surprised someone hasn't sued them.
