After reading this, although this happen last year, makes me soooo angry.

If we treated them any where close to this in America they would have a fit, yet they think it is okay to treat Christians in this manner.

Just this morning I was reading an VOM magazine form 2010 . It focused on Egypt. It told of the incredible hardships of converting to Christ in Egypt from the Muslim religion. Unspeakable horrors await them. I was reading about a number one student in some highly thought of biological field converted to Christ..The police took over him and tortured him; for long periods of time injecting him with drugs until eventually he became disabled....

I have been familiar with persecutions of Christians world wide since 1991. someone at my church was giving away some books.. I remember it was during a memorial day weekend and our Church went to the beach to pass out tracts and share Jesus with the folks there. I chose two books one of then was, "Tortured for Christ." It is the story of a Romanian Pastor under Soviet Occupation. In prison they had him for fourteen years before he was Sold to a Luthern Church in Norway for 10,000 dollars.

it's true, while living in my mother's basement, the first thing the Spirit of the Lord said to me was that he was going to give me a hundred ninetyfive stripes for being such a bad boy ..

the first lick was "sit thou at my right hand till I make all thine enemies thy footstool ..":laffatu

oh boy waz I in for a whooping..:happydance .. I was so astonished at such a gracious, loving, merciful God.... I could go on about how Good he is, because I have in these 20 years since so far received only 50-60 some ood stripes..

this caused me to remain in the basement because, I realized I was not ready by no means to go out into such a mean and vicious world.. the more God spoke to me the more of a lamb I become because I become less dependent upon myself and more dependent upon God ; and the hostile enviroment in which we live has cause me to even hide even further in my basement.. :heeheehee


really do you feel that I accuse you of living in error? Why you can live among the heathens all you want...just don't let them influience the way you think..if you are separate even in their midst you should have answers which come from above and you should be advariance with them.... they should hate you...right????? :heeheehee:happydance

five times received I forty stripes less one of the Jews...

didn't make sense to me either until I began to receive those stripes

anyway the third stripe was..or line or precept ...was

"remember the word unto thy servant upon which thou has caused me to hope.."

as I continued to receive these stripes ( promises) from the Holy Spirit eventually I understood and remembered the first promise which was the first promise ever; it was 15 years before; and just months before I received the Holy Spirit ,..:happydance
