The Monkey Is Sorry Thread

Serious...
Last night I responded to a post from another forum about 2 preachers joking on the day of JF's death. I first called them idiots, then retracted that and said what they said was idiotic, a little better but still leaving a bad taste in my mouth this morning.

There are 2 scenerios that I should have considered:

1. The full gists of their conversations and maybe somehow I took what they said out of context not knowing their full conversation and or personalities because I only saw 1 post by each man.

2. (probably the correct one) They did say something that at the time that to them was just funning around and having a chuckle not realizing that their words might hurt others...and I thought, hmmmmm, this sounds familiar. Yes, why that's ME...all of the time...I even got paid to do that on the radio! What a hypocrite I am to call others on something that I have made a career of doing! I remember on the other forum doing this same thing and feeling bad about that.

So, long story short...to whomever I have offended by my crass remarks concerning this issue, I apologize, please forgive me.

Be Blessed,
JR

You got guts, bro. I like that.

I had not read the posts you speak of but your apology was complete and without disclaimer.

Signs of someone who is truly sorry for something they have done.

You get todays "Excellent Spirit" award for your post. :)
