Things are all quiet here. I'm just sitting at my desk looking out the window and the pretty blue mountain in the distant. It seems to be getting bigger but I'm sure that is just a trick of the morning Sun......

But if doomsday doesn’t come today, Camping might explain it away just as he did his May prediction mistake. In another post on his site, Camping wrote that May 21 was the “spiritual” end of the world.

As for the earthquakes he predicted, he says they came in the form of “man-quakes,” since mankind shook with fear from the Rapture and the book of Genesis describes man as made from dirt.

How certain are you that world is going to end on May 21 — do you have any doubts?

God has given sooo much information in the Bible about this, and so many proofs, and so many signs, that we know it is absolutely going to happen without any question at all. There’s nothing in the Bible that God has ever prophesied — there’s many things that he prophesied would happen and they always have happened — but there’s nothing in the Bible that holds a candle to the amount of information to this tremendous truth of the end of the world. I would be absolutely in rebellion against God if I thought anything other than it is absolutely going to happen without any question.


If six o’clock rolls around and there are no major earthquakes, are you going to start to get worried?

It’s going to happen. It’s going to happen. I don’t even think about those kind of issues. The Bible is not — God is not playing games. I don’t even want to think about that question at all. It is going to happen.

You haven’t thought about what you’ll tell your followers on May 22 if the Rapture doesn’t take place?

I’m not even thinking about that at all. It. Is. Going. To. Happen. Because I trust the Bible implicitly, the Bible is God’s word — it’s not from a man, it’s not from an organization of some kind where there’s plenty of room for error. It is the word of God. When God speaks that it is going to happen, the Bible is a very factual book, and God gives many examples of how he has made prophesies and it always has happened in exact accord with what God has prophesied.


I know you’re convinced this is going to happen, but if May 22 comes around and you’re still here, can we talk again?

I can’t even think about that question because you’re thinking that maybe, maybe Judgment Day will not happen. But it will happen, and I believe the Bible implicitly.

I sure thought 18,000 people at Woman Thou Art Loosed with Bishop Jakes and Paula White preaching were gonna be raptured! The praise and the power was so high you could cut it with a knife. What a powerful service. I love Bishop & Serita Jakes. Pastor Paula White preached better last night than I have ever heard her. She told of many things she went through as the enemy tried to destroy her. They had to cut off registration weeks ago as Lakewood Church only seats 18,000. They are averaging over 45,000 each weekend with multiple services.

Does it make anyone ask...Where is and what happened to Harold Camping? I wonder what his broadcast says today? Is he alive? Did he die? Maybe he got raptured and all of us left behind! Anybody have any info or in a market where his broadcasts play?

Well, UC's have always used the example of Noah and his family being the only ones saved of all humanity to proclaim that it may indeed be "us four and no more" when the end comes.

Since his stroke in June, his radio show was canceled and he has made very few public statements, and only to say that he has nothing to say, basically. Before his stroke, he explained that the May 21 event was not physical (admitting he got it wrong about the earthquakes etc.) but spiritual, and God accomplished what He wanted. Namely, began 5 months of torment for unbelievers, and cut off the option of salvation for them. Er, us. Then October 21, of course, is the end of the world. Er, was. ;)

The biblical calendar is wrong OR we don't know how to interpret it.

AND

Prophesying today is dif from prophecy of old. O.T. through Revelation God gave direct prophecies to men. TODAY a prophet prophesies by comparing scriptures, not by receiving a direct word from God.

then says that they, he, or whatev, will recieve more understanding in feb 2012. possible end is may 2012, possible but not certain.

oh ya, the holy spirit returned to the ark in may, and spiritual judgement began upon the world.

I had to shake my head when I saw this. I do not know how they come up with this stuff. I just have to wonder who will believe them. Especially as we all know that the end of the world is on 12-21-2012.
