Re: i pad
You don't need an Ipad, you can use a nook too or some other ereader
|
Re: i pad

|
Re: i pad
I read my Bible on my phone whenever I get a chance. I just go to my browser and then go to BlueLetterBible.com and they have all kinds of versions of the Bible available there. I've also used my phone to look up verses in a church service. And today when we were doing our Sunday School lesson, we wanted to know more about the Feast of Esther. So I looked it up on my phone.

Re: i pad
My Sister uses her phone to read her Bible on also.

Re: i pad
well I havd a droid, the best bible APP is YouVersion
The guy could be using that. The Nook is only a couple hundred compared to an Ipad or Xoom or the Samsun which are closer to 500, but they are true pads while the Nook and Kindle are just ebook readers. However I know the Nook is android based and I think you can add apps to it |

Re: i pad
I become concerned about iPads when I look back in the congregation, during the service, and one of my members has the iPad in hand and ear plugs in their ears! lol :foot tap
I have the 64gb iPad and love it and use it for everything... weddings, funerals, sermons, Bible studies, Powerpoint Presentations etc. Wouldn't be without it! Been Thinkin |
Re: i pad
Our pastor used his ipad and these days when the pastor says "turn in your bibles" more and more people pull out their smart phone.
It's all still the word IMO. I think it's funny when people tell others to not use these devices. It's good to see folks discussing which is the best to use. I hope to have an Ipad and an opinion on this one day... but... so far... no go. :) |
Re: i pad
i waas told anyting over 16 gig was to much for a ipad said you would never use it . i dont have a clue tho. but am going to check on them.
|
Re: i pad
16 gigs? are you saying that is too much memory to have on an Ipad? Is there anything less?
16 gigs will hold a lot of music, video and pictures not to mention your APPs |
Re: i pad
no prax i was saying that is all you need not 32 or 64 was what i was told .
|
Re: i pad
oh, yeah it really depends on how much "stuff" you plan on storing on one
BTW the Nook is 199. What do you plan on using the Ipad for? |
Re: i pad
The pastor at much church will use is Mac PC or his IPAD from time to time. I have seen Erwin McManus use one from time to time as well.

Re: i pad
