Re: Fasting on Thanksgiving Day

sitting here frustrated, trying to get my husband out the door, knowing that my Sister is waiting for us to get there, trying to remain calm while waiting for the husband, I may as well be fasting.

I don't like waiting for people, I don't like being late, I think it's rude to not be on time. I'm not happy.

So yeah, we are suposed to be at my Sister's house right now, and I think I can hear toenail clippers from the bedroom.

How hard can it be to be somewhere at 1PM? it's not like we had to be somewhere at 6AM, or even 8AM.

Love is patient
Love is kind
It does not envy
It does not boast
It is not proud
It is not easily offended
It does not behave itself unseemly
It is not easily provoked,
Love bears all things
believes all things
hopes all things
endures all things,
love never fails

we are 7 minutes late atm.

Re: Fasting on Thanksgiving Day

My youngest brother fasted Thanksgiving Day, but he is going to be celebrating the feast tomorrow. I think that he dedicated himself to the fast before he realised which day it would cover, but I am not entirely sure of that. I do not ask questions about it.

I quited enjoyed my time of feasting. I now must contemplate a fast. However, I may decide to start at the beginning of the year. I think the second week of January has possibilities. I may fast a few days in December, but probably not very many.
