Better Be Careful
 

I guess I'd better be more careful about what I say here on this forum, on Facebook, and in public. Today someone threw a brick through our living room window. It destroyed the screen, shattered the double pane glass, damaged a table, and left broken glass scattered and imbedded in furniture and carpet.

We called the police so there would be a record of it. They took the brick for possible finger prints and told us that there haven't been other instances like this happening.

It may have been a random act.

We have some bricks stacked up in back of our house but this one was not that same type so it came from somewhere else.

Also, we watch a lot of Fox TV which may have been heard through open doors and windows and we are minorities in this neighborhood. I don't know if that is a factor or not but I do remember that the only 3 people who displayed McCain political posters in our neighborhood had them damaged or destroyed.

We've lived in this house since August 1977 and have not had any problems.

But, it is kinda scary.

Sam, I had to start using the name Aquila because when I was on Apostolic Man forum brothers from my church started harrassing me. Sad really. So glad you guys are okay.

That’s why I’m an advocate of guns. Buy one! The minimum pistol caliber for home protection should be a 9mm. What if they would have tried kicking down your door?
