I was so shocked to find myself in agreement with Benny Hinn, but he calls it right all the way down the wire. Pity that more people are trying duck and cover. I do not agree with him on most things, but this time he has it right.

This reminds me of the girl with the spirit of divination that followed Paul in Acts 16 telling the people that they were men of God coming to show the way of salvation. I question Benny Hinn's motives in these comments, but indeed, what he says is of a truth.

I think Joel was trying to make a point that he is not the judge of man only God is. He kept saying what he believed and taught.

The fact is that he is emergent and does not truly believe the entire Bible as it is written. They do not want to call sin sin, and say that anybody could make it into Heaven. They are the very worst of easy believers.

Joel is a hometown boy here. He took over a very large church when his daddy, who was a great Christian man, died. Joel is a gifted speaker and preaches only uplifting messages designed to make people feel good. He does not delve into subjects like hell but he does encourage bible reading, although he doesn't do much of it himself from the pulpit.

I am not going to try to judge the man's heart. His style is controversial and he does not tell the whole truth... I could say the very same words about the UPC preacher I have sat under for the past 4 years and the the one before him too along with many of the evangelists that have visited our churches over the years.... I've even heard Billy Graham say things that made me nearly spit out my teeth in the past few years and there are huge rallies in Christiandom where masses are told 'repeat after me' say a few words and then are told 'you are now saved'...

Jesus himself said 'If they are for me they can't be against me' and I have met enough great Christian folks who got their start with God in some weird places... And plenty that have come to an alter of repentance, prayed through to the HG, were baptized in Jesus name and slid back in to the world with a thud before I even knew their last names.

Now Benny... he just plain creeps me out...and his wife wanting to give us all 'A HOLY GHOST ENEMA'... well brother... to say these people are freaks is an understatement.

Just because Joel is a weak preacher does not mean that the guy who wants to 'punch him in the face' isn't even more wrong.

2. You were airing out dirty laundry, I mentioned something that was national news.
3. I was dissing Benny Hinn...so really...where is the wrong in that?

There is a picture of them leaving a hotel room together. They don't deny the picture is real. They deny "immorality" took place. And this just in, they have a certain bridge in New York for sale, if you're interested. :lol

You can say what you will about Joel's message, but to say he is a weak leader is nonsense. Leadership of people is very difficult, to lead and continue to grow his father's church show extremely good, no GREAT leadership. He may come across as a wimpy, but I assure you he is not!!! He is leading and growing a body of believers. BTW: BH draws a crowd to see his circus act, he does not lead a church or group of people.

He has, not only the hat, he has the land and the cattle!!! A figure of speech, relating to ranching!

Excellent statement. When someone like Oprah states she has thought about writing a bible and states that on public TV then it's clear to me and should be to others, that she has elevated herself to the level of a female god.
In case some of the professing Christians who are non believers in hell and the devil don't know, that kind of statement is satanic in nature and is the evidence of demonic possession.
Put a scarlet colored dress on her and place her on a beast and you'll have the lady in the Book of Revelation. Yes, we can't forget that golden cup full of wine in her case.:boxing

He would have more credit in his account if he quit trying to equivicate and placate. When confronted with a relatively straight forward question, he shies like a nervous horse. He needs to worry less what he is going to edited to sound like and just say the truth.

This is why so many of us conservatives do not want our preachers on television. It leads to a desire to pacify everyone no matter their sins.
