KWSS1976,

You need to explain what the link is to. I don't blindly click on any link.

Yes.

It is pathetic. Just another new age, jet set version of Christianity. The whole country is full of this kind of thinking. Discipleship is hated by many. The final word to everything is "Jesus paid it all".

There is a place, however, for the right kind of religion....

"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you."
James 1:27

He preaches only half the truth. He says religon says DO. Well Jesus must be very "religous" according to his definition. Jesus is telling people to do things from the time he began calling disciples. There are things we must DO if we expect to enter the Kingdom.

He confuses the issue telling men they need do nothing. He fails to differintiate between initial salvation and then walking the narrow path that leads to life. This is the same mistake thats being made everywhere.

So MTD, can you please give a complete list of all we should do so we can enter the kingdom. If it's required for the kingdom, we should at least know!

If you love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength you will be searching his word daily to know his will. You will be glad to do whatever he says.

So how about those who cannot read? How are they supposed to find out the will of God?

Also, the early church did not even have the a copy of the new testament that we have today, so how did they find out the will of the Lord?

They had Apostles and other Ministries who heard the truth from Christ Jesus. John said "if they wont hear us they are not of us". 1 John 4:6

When I said the early church, I did not mean only those who heard the apostles speak? After the apostle died, how did they know the will of the Lord?

Oh and you did not reply about people today who cannot read? How do they find out the will of God?

Then you might surely agree that God does not expect to be perfectly contained in a sentence, a song, or a book written by any man, but that nonetheless does not mean that any man's expression may not reflect God? You say this vid only gets it half right-I say, wow, he got half of it in one song? I thought he was illuminating one, tiny aspect. Or maybe two.
When I test this video, it replies "Jesus Christ is Lord."

I loved it. It is not my 'style' at all and that is WHAT I loved about it... a young person sharing Jesus with young people through something that is appealing to them.

The underlying message was biblicaly sound. Even if you believe he did not tell the whole story, he told that part he was trying to tell with honesty and love.

Good enough for me.
