Just got sent a text message of a woman's hand with an engagement ring on it! My youngest son is officially engaged as of tonight!

His mom and I are very happy about it. Two down and one left to find a spouse for.

LOL!!! When he was talking about this possibility awhile back he mentioned maybe having a destination wedding but I told him he can't do that since he picked the year to get married that I am taking all three weeks of my vacation at one time on a big Cruise / European vacation.

She is from Atlanta so hopefully they will get married there since it is only about a four hour drive from Middle Tennessee where we live.

No fair on the empty nest progress! My new baby comes in 3 1/2 months. My exist strategy has just been postponed by 20 years.

Wow! I can't imagine. We have had an empty nest off and on the last few years. Right now my oldest son has his own apartment but spends about half his nights here at home - LOL!!!

No wedding date set yet but it will be an outdoor wedding this summer at the golf course that the bride's father owns. A very nice club house for the reception!

The bride's family has offered us the use of two "cottages" on the property to house our family during the festivities. When we checked to see how many rooms there were in these "cottages" found out each one has four bedrooms! One man's cottage is another man's big house! LOL

Or worse yet going through the "Its a small world after all" ride again! When my daughter was five we went to Disneyland and on the last day asked her what she wanted to do the most again and it was the small world ride. I thought my ears would start bleeding if I heard that stupid song one more time.

Pretty much a sure thing. My sons future inlaws live in a 26,000 sq foot house (pretty much ten times the size of ours) LOL!!!
