Comes from poor self esteem, or being made to feel inferior. Yule never hear a rabbi answer "no" in a discussion, and I found the way they disagree, after much qualification and agreeing, quite interesting. It stays positive while getting...too deep for me. Of course, this was in person, where the dynamic is diff...

I think you should come to see it as an outpouring of death, and see the appropriate response as shrinking away from it in any way you may. You could be trapped in the same room with it and effectively completely separated from its spirit.
Life, an outpouring of life, the pov that contains the most life, will always take precedence in a conversation or situation, however. Always.

I find that most normal everyday people are not deliberately cruel, they are just very self focused and often do not think about how what they say or do will affect others so may cause hurt.

But even real cruelty is just part of the spectrum of human behavior. Even children can exhibit real cruelty unless taught better.

Is there something in particular that is bothering you Matt? I see you posting a lot of questions... and you seem troubled... something I can help with maybe?

Just imagine what life would be like if there wasn't just a tiny bit of cruelty in people. All the great practical jokes that would have never taken place!

I agree that we all need a mixture, but what I'm trying to get at really is why people feel the need to be hurtfully cruel, why do some people not realize they're being cruel when it's completely obvious to everyone around them, why do some people not care that they're cruel...but life would be boring if we were all happy go lucky. Much mo betta?
