Can't believe AFF will celebrate being in existence five years next week!!!

Time really does fly!

We were trying for a Valentine's Day opening, but we were able to get things lined up and open by the 8th!

For AFF. Of course, there was NFCF and FCF before that.

I was late, but got here as soon as I could. :)

I don't believe we had a 5 year mission. We were just hoping to be a blessing to those in need. Lol!

Renda, do you know how long FCF and NFCF was alive! I know I came on board in 2004. I had browsed a good while before a notice was posted that if you wanted to remain a member you had to say something. Even if just a hello, I am ??. Once I started posting, just never stopped. My lurking days were over!
This will make 6844 posts since AFF began in Feb 2007. Miss a lot of friends that decided not to stay.

I wondered how long AFF had been around. I have enjoyed being here, and posting when I can. There are a wide variety of people here, and I am glad for AFF because of the things I have learned here.

I am thankful for friends I have made here...thank God for AFF!

I'm not sure of the start date of FCF. I joined it after the "island" happening. NFCF only lasted about a year.

see an announcement that Jim Yohe had died sitting at his computer the night before.

AFF has been a blessing in my life in more ways than I could ever begin to list. We've said it before, but I'll say it again - isn't it amazing how close we can feel to people we've never met face-to-face!

I have been on the AFF predacessors since about 1996...


Many friends blessings have I experienced on these forums. I know this format is disdained by some, but there really is a dynamic here that can't be found in many churches... May we use it to the glory of God!

I have been here just more than a year, and this is my 1,486th post. I have been an active member for nearly 20% of the entire lifetime of the AFF. May we have another happy five years of clamorous cacophony and contentious conversation.

I am trying. I am rapidly approaching my 1,500th post. I have less than 15 left to go. 1,500 in a year is not bad, especially after a hiatus of a number of months.
