So much is wrong with this. The person, the act, statements about Long no longer being a "commoner," the elevation of a position as authoritarian over everyone, and the claims about the scroll just to name a few. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Okay... I know this is old news... but I have a larger, more broad question. There were thousands there in attendance that day. Many within New Birth Church claim to have the Holy Ghost, I don't know their hearts, so I have no idea.

But, surely, in all that crowd.... didn't somebody's spirit get checked? And I don't know that they didn't, but you would have thought you would have seen or heard about a large group walking out, or objecting.... but they cheer and applaud.

I'm just amazed nobody right there in the service had issue with it.... are we that asleep sometimes when we're on the pew?

Are you saying the ordeal was as fake as wrestling? Wrestling is suppose to be fake and everyone knows it, but church is suppose to be real.

And here lies the problem. This is perhaps the perfect analogy. Because of the charlatans and shenanigans that intelligent people in the world see, they do see it all as wrestling. They also see us as the dopes who watch it and actually believe it. The harm that some "preachers" are doing to the Kingdom is staggering and, for some watching, possibly irreversible.

For the record its not just some in ministry that have detroyed others. Most of ministers I have dealt with are good men and sincere. Few bad apples can make harder on others.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the LOL is about or if it is directed at my statement, but I will say that there is a generation of ministers who are looking to change what I referred to. It absolutely has to happen if Christianity is going to be viable and effective in reaching my generation and beyond. God Bless.
