Bodies Found

We're in shock here. Bodies of the Tennessee mother and daughter were found buried in the backyard not too many miles from here.

Please pray that the two younger girls are found and rescued from the clutches of that ghoul looking guy that is believed to have kidnapped them and killed their mother and sister.

That guy would look good with a hole right between his eyes if he is the one that killed that mom and daughter and took the other two.

I've been reading about this unfolding story the past couple days.
Was so sad to hear they found the mama and one of the daughters
murdered. Praying they find this maniac before the other 2 are
harmed.

I wouldn't mind witnessing about the Word of the Lord to him. As for wishing him dead, I'm not ashamed to say I don't wish it. If you'll remember, the Lord had killers and thieves for friends.

It all depends on if it was the killers of a loved one or a stranger.

Not in God's eyes. I don't want to be held accountable for a potential soul because I bore a grudge against him. Who's place is it to decide who deserves eternal bliss, ours, or God's? Does not everyone deserve forgiveness for any sin, outside of blaspheming the Holy Ghost, or does my bible lie to me?

Ha I think it tells the truth.
The hard part to get, I think, is that
he did not hurt them, he sent them to a reward,
and if you killed him, you would be obv granting his wish,
and doing the same.

Matt, fellow ministers and I do share the Gospel with folks like this guy every week in Prison services.

It just galls me that men hurt/offend children. Jesus was against such acts.

(Mat 18:6) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

(Mar 9:42) And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

(Luk 17:2) It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Isn't repentance required for forgiveness? And repentance is to turn away from the sin and go a different direction.

Well, if someone attacks me and I am forced to use my 2nd Amendment rights to defend myself, than in a manner of speaking THEY are the ones who "decided" to end their lives prematurely.

I agree that it should go through the Justice System. And if found guilty the sentence should be death and carried out swiftly.

Re: Bodies Found

New information. The wife and mother of the accused were arrested.

http://www.djournal.com/view/full_st...ry_left_column

In the story: **Mayes and the Bains were known around Whiteville, a town of about 4,500 people 60 miles east of Memphis. Mayes was a longtime friend of Bain's husband and had been at their home the evening before they disappeared, police said.

Both Gary Bain and Mayes were once married to sisters, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm said.

Mayes had stayed over at the Bains' house to help the family pack and load up a U-Haul to drive across the country to Arizona, Helm said. Gary Bain, who was at the house that night, awoke to find his wife, daughters and Mayes gone.

He couldn't reach his wife on her cell phone that day, and reported them missing when the girls didn't get off the school bus.**

I did not realize Gary Bain did not think anything was amiss that morning. If I was a man and awoke and found my entire family gone along with my friend, I think I would have contacted the school or gone to the school to see about my children. And if we were supposed to be packing, wouldn't I be looking for both my wife and my friend to help? My senses feel that there is something else rotten going on here that the paper cannot write just now.

Yeah, it could even be that the suspect rescued the other girls. Or, the Dad was involved.

Yup, I agree.
No use have them sit on death row for 10 or more years.
That's cruel.

New story with more info.

** Mayes, 31, was charged with four counts of especially aggravated kidnapping and held on a $500,000 bond, Fulghum said. Mary Mayes, 65, was charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping and held on $300,000 bond, the clerk said.**

If there is a conspiracy, how big is this conspiracy? Who all in involved in this horrible tragedy?

Not on this one they can't. She knew. They both knew. They all had to have known. He buried the bodies in the backyard.

I would be running to the sheriff's department so fast that there would be a bright blue blaze trailing behind me if I knew something like that was happening.

What's wrong with people?

So if I read this right, a man's wife and three daughters were kidnapped by that same man's friend?

The friend killed that man's wife and 1 daughter?

I just don't know how I would digest all of that!

God have mercy on all involved, and bring peace to the heart's and lives of the victims.

That's what all the news stories say. There are still 2 little girls that they cannot find. They cannot find him or the girls. We get another tidbit every time they bring us an update.

Something is wrong with this scenario we are given. The more they update, the more questions there are. Now we find out that his wife drove them back from Tennessee. Not sure if the mother and daughter were alive or dead when they drove back. The wife saw him shoveling dirt in the back yard...that's where they found the bodies.

I know it, and my heart hurts for those poor people who the devil took out of the world. But at the same time, when somebody says in not so many words "I wish death on this person for doing this" that hurts me just as much. It's not anyone's place to decide who lives and dies but God's. If you are not able to witness of God's glory to the worst of men, then you have not the mind of Christ. I don't see how someone who has the Holy Ghost could wish death on anyone.

I've stopped an attacker before with a rebuke in the name of Jesus. It's a shame when we don't trust in the spiritual weapons of God, and put our trust in the devils weapons of death. I'm pretty sure on judgement day, "Objection God! I'm an American and I have rights!" won't be a very good arguement.

What should scare you is your lack of trust in God that you will never be put in that situation in the first place.
