Re: Cell Phones In Church
One Sunday morning someone's phone went off during the sermon. They were sitting on the second pew! So the pastor just stopped in the middle of what he was saying and said to them, "Go ahead and answer it. We'll wait."
LOL!!! (the pastor and this guy are great friends. He wouldn't have done that with just everyone) |
Re: Cell Phones In Church
Um, Pastor in the middle of his sermon stopped to answer his cell phone (for real). A lesson on how to kill the Spirit?

Re: Cell Phones In Church
I had come in to church late (almost NEVER happens). I had just my cell phone and my car keys with me. Keys in my hand, phone in my pocket.
Because I was late to church, there was not parking. So I parked in the driveway by the gym. At this time our church was under construction and we were having church....IN THE GYM! I sat along the back wall. About the time I sat down, my phone that was in my skirt pocket playing Pandora Radio....Pink Floyd. (I know, I know.....I was JUST checking out a song....for a friend!) As I am fumbling to get the stupid phone turned off, my car alarm goes off......right beside the gym and it was LOUD! Since our church plays LOUD music, not very many people noticed all of this. Of course my 19 year old son and all of his friends where by me and was rolling laughing. Needless to say, I get to church early now, park far far away, and I do not have Pandora Radio on this phone! |

Re: Cell Phones In Church
I always make sure to turn my phone to "vibrate" before going into the church.
People who purposely leave theirs on ring tone, are being very disrespectful in my opinion. |
Re: Cell Phones In Church
i cant imagine someone leaving it on, on purpose !

I have a friend that would wear his Blue Tooth on the platform while he played the bass. And we could always tell when he got a call. :smack
