I attended a hard core UC church for 13 years, while obtaining a English/Humanties degree from Rollins College. Having to hold opposing worldviews in a sort of balance/tension with each other, and being exposed to so many different ideas, has given me a curiousity about the world without fear of learning about other view points. It's also taught me to glean from other sources what can be applied to my faith without detracting from it. And I believe you have the same mind set. |
