ALJC Tennessee District Campmeeting

Though I'm not in the Assemblies, I know District Superintendent Brother Robinson, as well as host church Pastor Brother Batson would extend a warm invitation to anyone in the area to come out for the Campmeeting.

The Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ will be hosting their annual Tennessee District Campmeeting in Nashville at New Life Apostolic July 25 - 27. Services will be nightly at 7:30pm with great music and Pastor Kenny Carpenter speaking. Thursday and Friday morning services are at 10am.

There is a Children's Campmeeting nightly as well with Shannon Peacock over that ministry. I've been privileged to go to this Campmeeting in the past, and it's always great and you'll be glad you went.

Thanks for posting the info Bro. Robbins. I have never been to an ALJC meeting and would like to try to go one night since I live in Middle Tennessee.

If you go, you'll enjoy it. Brother and Sister Batson, host pastors, are gracious and wonderful people. And the other churches from the Tennessee District come together to really make a great series of services. I just wish it was longer than 3 days. I probably won't make it until Friday night, but my plan is to go.

And Pastor Carpenter is the Senior Pastor of First Apostolic Maryville. They are a growing and exciting church, running close to 500 now I think, and waiting to get into their new worship center. It was one of the many ALJC churches planted by the Knoxville First Apostolic Church and Brother B. McCool. There are almost a dozen vibrant and growing churches in East TN planted by Brother McCool and the Knoxville FAC family.

You don't want to miss Brother Carpenter for sure... and the music... I guarantee you'll enjoy the music.

I'd go, but that would mean that I would miss the Western District Campmeeting here in California.

Ask them "Can Jesus help me love my neighbor Olli? Nobody loves my neighbor Olli!"

You are absolutely right... Pastor Carpenter is top notch and the church choir is fantastic. I have visited the church in Maryville several times; relatives attend church there. Will the camp meetings be streamed live?

"Don't get stuck in a snake handling church service in Tennessee! Order DirecTV."

Now I only have to write the rest of the commercial leading up to it.

No, this isn't a big operation. The larger TN churches of the ALJC are not part of the Tennessee District, they belong to the Tri-State District. Brother Batson's church is the largest, and they run maybe 120/150. The TN District doesn't really even have a website, they have a Wordpress Blog type site, so no one really has the resources to do something as nice as stream them live. Would certainly be nice, but not that big of an operation.

Just a note, if anyone in the Middle TN area is planning on attending, get there early, especially Friday night. The New Life Church only seats about 300, and will be packed. It will be a great series of services.

See you there.. be sure to introduce yourself. You'll know me cause they usually ask the ministers from the different org's represented to stand and say hello. You'll love brother Carpenter....
