Jesus' name is not Jeshua, Yeshua, Jehashua (or any of the many, many guess names people come up with)...it's Jesus. In Hebrew it's Jesha(s), and this is pronounced "Je-shahs". Now, look up Strongs H3468 and what does this name mean? Jesus came in the flesh, not the Tetragammaton or any of the 72+ guess names which have come from it. From what I understand, he believes that God's name now is and always has been "Jesus."

I realize not all OP's see everything alike but Bro. Reckart is a little different than many of us.

I like reading Cohen's articles.

I might not agree with everything he says, but he is certainly more interesting than a lot of the milquetoast pablum that passes for 'religious literature' being put out there these days.

Its kind of funny in a way. Not long ago both on this forum and on the GNC the Hebrew YHWH was being ridiculed. Im glad to see some here are understanding that when you see this (LORD) in the OT that is just an English representation for YHWH.

It's interesting they quote certain sources yet deride the quoting of sources that show they are wrong

More interesting is when I go and check the resource I find not only are their claims of what that resource said untrue, other times it was only part of what the resource said and the rest refutes them.

I wish Reckarts followers would go read these same resources for themselves. Read the Encyclopedia Britannica and see if it says what they claim

This also explains why several quotes get deleted from their discussions from those that are refuting them

And I hear people enamored with this guys articles but the fact is he makes a lot of assertions but never backs them up and the ones he does back up the resources don't really say what they claim

Other issues are just pure logical fallacies

For example the quote the Kaballah saying God is a male/female God..well actually they don't quote it, they just say it says so. But rather than say it teaches God is dual gendered, Reckart says bi-sexual.

This is his argument for YHWH being a demon and that the Jews invented it. But the Kaballah cited is probably a middle age invention

Just because some book perverts the image of God does not mean YHWH was a Jewish invention inserted into scriptures. It just means some one later on wrote crazy stuff ABOUT YHWH

Lastly the Kaballah is a book of Jewish mysticism. It's not a Jewish commentary

Another common tactic is to quote editions of Encyclopedias that are 50 years old...good luck finding one to see if what he says is true. How convenient

Another is claiming an older version of a commentary supports him but was since edited...good luck finding that older version.

Yet that quote says nothing about his claims. What he does is quotes a snippet then without you realizing it, he end quotes then elaborates in his own words.

According to Robertson, it's a transliteration not a translation of the Hebrew

Playboy has great articles but the other content isn't worth buying the magazine. I feel the same way about Reckert. There are a few people who shouldn't have access to the internet. Reckart is one of them. Reckart has claimed in times past unless you were baptized by him, you are not saved.

Ok Reckert is really off on some things. In my opinion he is no worse and perhaps if he stops his anti YHWH crusade would be a more useful teacher than many Apostolics. At least he stands for something.

He has done a great job in exposing the preterists. I dont see anyone on here doing that mostly they are accepted if not down right praised. He exposes the pre trib error also.

Years ago he came in my Paltalk room a few times. He said he was with me until I began to speak on the "standards". Then he said I lost him.

Anyway Im just saying why is HE the only one who can be hated and ridiculed on this Forum? Everyday I see much false doctrine posted here and many people teach falsely on many things. So tho I do not follow Reckert and would not encourage anyone else to I cant say hes worse than many right here when it comes to teaching error.

One fellow on the Forum here has mocked YHWH and Yeshua many times and holds to the same standards as Reckert does and he is affectionately called "Elder" by many here. Hmmmm
