Where's The Main Street Media? Chick-fil-a!

Well, I've been watching and I guess the MSM is not going to report on the Chick-fil-a turn-out today. I stopped at a Chick-fil-a today and the cars were in two circles around the store and more people inside than they had room for. But you watch, Friday when they have the "kiss-in" by the gays the media will fall all over themselves to report this. God help America! Free speech??? What is that?

I ate at CFA today. It wasn't more busy than the norm. Everyone was stuffing their faces with chicken and waffle fries. The only stand that people took was the stand in line.

I guess I was at the wrong CFA. I have read reports that some locations were full of people taking a stand for free speech, Biblical marriage, and traditional family values.

I went yesterday and it was packed, but then again it is always packed. Was also mediocre as always. Went to Taco Bell today.

CFA today was absolutely insane! I went to the Folsom, CA location. Line out the door, press was there, cars wrapped around the building.

I'll try and upload some photos I took.

Yea, capitalism!

Well...I didn't go. I was doing my civic duty today.

The press can line up for all the "kisses" they want. I don't watch television. If people will turn their televisions off, they won't have to look at it. :)

Huh? I saw it on the news, live. A local station in Austin, and it seemed fair and balanced. (Not "Fair And Balanced", registered trademark of Fox News! Actually fair, and actually balanced. :heeheehee)

I read on another forum that someone claimed Chick-fil-A is on the verge of bankruptcy; I haven't seen that anywhere else. Has anybody else heard that?

There are some who are sympathetic to the cause of gay rights, and some who are not, who take the attitude that it's just a sandwich -- who cares what the company's views are (or their executives' or owners' or whatever)? I don't see it that way. I, for one, would not want some of the money I spend going to causes I don't agree with. Vote with your wallet! (As the counter-boycotters are doing, and I say "more power to 'em". Just don't think it proves anything. ;))

That's for private parties. For government entities, it's another matter. They should not deny or revoke a license to a business solely on the basis of the opinions of a business or what it donates money to. If that's what they're doing in Chicago or elsewhere, I'm against it.
