Dems Deny God 3 Times in Platform Issue
Question! What spiritual significance, if any, do you place on the Democrats denying 3 times, "God" being placed back in the Demo's platform? even tho the response by the crowd was over ridden by the man in charge?
Just wonderin' Been Thinkin |

Signs of the times! Someone said it's the first time they've ever heard God booed and Bill Clinton praised at the same convention!

the Pharisees, or the Sadducees? Do you really think the choices are any different now than they were then? How do you know? I personally am convinced that a...prayerful consideration of this matter could only lead a believer in a completely different direction, and I have quiteabita Scripture to back me up. You cannot serve two masters? Just look at "new posts." |
Did they really "boo" God? Seriously?

Now. I wonder if, by any chance, there might be one of you out there that might be interested in a conversation about what is really going on. No GOP allowed, of course. Witness the fruit of politics, and understand what you do to "Christian" when you attempt to serve two masters. |
Re: Dems Deny God 3 Times in Platform Issue
This was seriously disturbing. Even more disturbing was the fact that he used illicit measures to force the change into place. The vote was clearly to close to call, yet he proceeded to force the issue into place regardless of the rules mandated. The secondary question is whether or not God was given glory by such unethical behavior. My answer would be absolutely not!!! The convention should have been forced to answer that question in the manner provided by the rules. I would deem that God and his word were rejected just as much by the man on the stage as He was by those in the crowd.

It's interesting to note that the part of the crowd I saw on tv was the Arab Americans being very vocally opposed to the motion. |
Re: Dems Deny God 3 Times in Platform Issue
I would have liked to have seen the Democratic Party officially have gone on record as to their actual stance on God and Jerusalem. I anticipate that in four years they will not even vote to include God, and will support making Jerusalem the capital of a new Arab state. This will be especially true if Obama wins a second term as our 'messiah'.

I had thought about buying some of Carter's books, but when I looked at them, and saw his deep anti-Antisemitism, I could not do so in good conscience. I find it a shame that a man who helped to finalize the peace between Egypt and Israel has turned so thoroughly from the proper path.
