Without A Vision The People Perish

I don't want to perish.

My wife returned from her out of state trip last night and I sprung my theological justification for needing the Victory Vision!

I don't think she is convinced but I told her as the head of the household I am the spiritual leader and I need the Victory and I don't want anyone to perish!!

Victory's are American made. I am anxious to read some real world reviews of the Vision. I am interested in how it handles, aerodynamics of the body fairing re: riding comfort, etc.

I sat on a prototype and loved it. It is perfect for short people like myself. For a big bike I felt very comfortable on it.

It will be interesting if the Vision can give the Goldwing and Electra Glide a run for the money!

Victory's advantage over Harley is that they are not tied to some mystical aura that keeps Harley technology behind the times in every bike except the V Rod.

Unfortunetly just like Harley the prices on Victory's is too high. Their cruisers are awesome with unique styling, great paint jobs, and big fat rear tires. Unfortunetely they run between $15,000-$18,000. That is with a 100 cu inch engine (1600 cc). That is thousands of dollars more than you would pay for a rice burner of comparable engine size.

They have not released the price yet on the model I want (the one with the trunk, etc) but the base Vision starts at $18995 so it is definitely in the Gold Wing / Electra price range.

I am guessing 35-40 mpg. It is kind of funny that the bigger bikes don't really get any better gas mileage than a sub compact car.

My 1300cc only gets 40-42 mpg. My previous bike was a 500cc and it got about 50mpg. My wife's 260cc scooter that I sold to get the VTX1300S got about 55 mpg.
